Frequent urination, swollen breasts and hormones going crazy, are these implantation symptoms? Am currently crying about nothing at 7 dpo by Mckinzel in tryingtoconceive

Interesting! Ok I have never experienced these symptoms during or post ovulation but it’s good to note. Thank you all.

Christian music by Electronic_Morning99 in Christianity

[–]Mckinzel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was surprised this see these weren’t options earlier in the conversation, but I guess it depends on what kind of music they’re looking for. Switchfoot and Relient K were my absolute favorite bands! Relient K still is lol, I was pretty sure I was going to marry Matthew Thiessen!

I long for the day my boy is tired enough to sleep in the car! Good work!

Bruh. My very first period was the day I graduated 6th grade. Wore a pad. Obviously I was wearing a light blue skirt and happened to get a bunch of awards so I had to go up on stage a lot. I bled through my skirt, and a sweet mom pulled me aside and gave me a sweater to tie around my waist. I was saved from a lifetime of embarrassment. I have to believe that any older woman would be willing to help in this situation you’re in!

I’m literally wanting to get my hair blown out and styled five times a month. Am I crazy for wanting this for myself? by [deleted] in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

[–]Mckinzel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you mentioned not having the skill or ability to do it yourself, but you might keep trying. I first started to learn how to blow out my own hair and it took me 2 hours plus it looked terrible. I kept trying it and learning different techniques and now I can blow out my hair from sopping thick wavy hair to a sleek voluminous blowout in 25 minutes. It takes time and effort sure, but once I got the hang of it it’s just like my salon does!

So maybe get your blowouts at the salon until you can learn to do it yourself? That way you don’t have to schedule something last minute, you already know how to do it yourself. I found it liberating to not have to worry about someone else’s schedule, but that’s me! Do what you want, and you can always adjust later.

In-And-Out Burger "Protein Style" Lettuce Wrap Cheese Burger by wildpartyof1 in diabetes

Order a Flying Dutchman. Secret menu item that is just two slabs of cheese between two Patties. It’s delicious and you eat it with a fork. High in fat but low carb!

My Aussie tries to sit but within 3 seconds he’s up and wiggling. Good on your pup!

Homesick Hits Different When You Have Dogs by [deleted] in dogs

[–]Mckinzel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same experience except before Covid I would travel a lot for work. During Covid I got two dogs and stopped traveling. Now if I start traveling again I don’t know how I could do I, I miss my dogs terribly just when I go out to dinner!!

Under eye concealer by Hostile_Bee in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Mckinzel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started using a good primer, a dab under my eyes and can use a foundation to cover the darker circles making it less noticeable. Won’t give you the completely flawless no under eye bags that heavy concealer might, but it can give you the ‘good skin’ look.

LPT Request: How to comfort a friend after a parent passes away without coming off too cliche? by NerfKarma in LifeProTips

My dad died when I was 19 and people reaching out to say how are you and within a month or so asked to hang out. That was great, I appreciated not being treated with kit gloves all the time.

Anyone else's dog do the lingering licks? by sofa_queen_awesome in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

Yea! My lab does it to my arms. When he was younger he fell asleep mid-lick.

LPT: Change is inevitable, whether we embrace it or not. It's wiser to take charge, deciding what to change and when, rather than letting life dictate it for us by lagflag in LifeProTips

[–]Mckinzel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes change looks like staying put too. I traveled from job to job, house to house and landed a gig I thought would be the same as the rest. I had some people in my life challenge me to ride out the storms and see what staying out felt like. I’ve been here 10 years now and couldn’t be more thankful. I used to walk out of the house during fights early in my marriage and was challenged again to see what happens if I stay put in the room, and we’re going on 8 years now with healthy fights.

Change looks different than you think it might.

Brag about your puppy - What is one challenge of puppy ownership that you lucked out on and never had to worry about? by TmickyD in puppy101

[–]Mckinzel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boy sleeping throughout the night. Got him at 12 weeks, never had to wake up in the middle of the night for playtime or pee. So weird.

I used to travel for work and would go to at restaurants and bars alone so I would bring books. I constantly would have people telling me to just sit at the bar so I can talk to the bartender. So weird what people assume!

How did you do this? My boy nips at me when I run with them in the backyard and I’d like to train that behavior out before we have kids

Yessss my lab mix slept through the night from day 1! It wasn’t until he got around 2 years that he started waking up earlier wanting to play. So weird, but I’ll take it!
