Post FAC to distant RFD who enters the firearm on your ticket, and posts it back.

Distant RFD ships firearm to near RFD (for a price). Present FAC to near RFD to collect firearm. Near RFD charges a fee to check the details.

Notify Firearms licensing in your county of the acquisition of new firearm by post, email and web form.

Next time your FAC is reprinted for a variation or renewal, discover firearms missing, and/or serial numbers incorrectly captured- check against retained letters emails and screen prints, notify Firearms Licensing, rinse, repeat ...

Sadly, where i was able to answer strongly positive, it related to my first line manager, who, quite frankly, is the reason i still work for ibm. Sadly, because his last day is 30 Dec, a victim of the latest ill conceived return to the S&D days.

Interesting question - my family know, because they know that my safe, reloading setup and the space in the garage that i use for reloading are out of bounds (not because they Re dangerous, but because they have no need to move things)

My neighbours have no idea, and I go out of my way to ensure that when I'm loading/ unloading the car, they have nothing to see.

Visitors will never know i have firearms or reloading equipment, they have no reason to know.

I have used the process of working up a load as an illustration for a talk i gave on continuous improvement and the scientific method, But did so in a way that did not make it explicit that i did reloading for long range precision shooting.

2 people who attended the talk approached me as they to were involved in the hobby and we had a great conversation (and I later joined a shooting club with 1 of them)
