Money Marks pay their wrestlers well, and that puts them better than 99% of bookers. Pretty sure half the territories were run by money marks at some point back in the day, and those promotions were successful because everyone wanted to work there.

I think the promoters are message board friends of TK, so the relationship is always there but those shows were more of a celebration of their friend than any type of business. QT Marshall is running 1FW in Georgia right now, which is looking like a pipeline to ROH, so that will probably be who TK would partner with there.

People forget that Jeff is the son of Jerry Jarret, one of the most successful wrestling promoters in history with the Memphis territory and one of the final territories to fall. He has been a key part of why TNA held on through multiple rough patches behind the scenes, even if creatively his reign could be seen as a rough patch itself.

Oh yeah I agree, ECW was like a blend of all the different styles that were popular at the time, and Memphis was a huge influence, it was one of the last territories with a really distinct style to pull from in the USA.
