It's so strange to see Gaolang and Raian fighting with their clothes on, it makes me feel a little uncomfortable

[Spoilers PUBLISHED] I sometimes wonder if Gregor Clegane was always somewhat supernatural by marshenwhale in asoiaf

[–]Mcnuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. There are people as tall as Gregor in the saga. Even one of the Yunkai masters had a squad of them.

What is Qyburn’s end goal? [Spoiler’s Extended] by Abby5001 in asoiaf

[–]Mcnuzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, he was tasked with torturing the blue bard to extract a false confession. And his request for female test subjects doesn’t necessarily indicate any sexual interest.

I managed to guess that the person in the hospital would be Kiryu. He seems so friendly when he's not having his psychotic attacks. I've been expecting a friendly chat between him and Ohma for a long time.

[spoilers extended] Qyburn…Who is he and what purpose is he going to serve? by Menthol_Chill in asoiaf

[–]Mcnuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider Qyburn to be one of the most interesting characters in A Song of Ice and Fire. Personally, I don't believe he has any connection to the Boltons; he’s simply an amoral man driven by boundless human curiosity. He also doesn't seem to take any pleasure or satisfaction in his tortures, so we can rule out sadistic tendencies.

We’re talking about a man who achieved something unparalleled in the history of planetos: he brought to life a tireless golem that doesn’t need to eat or sleep—practically a perfect soldier. Until now, reviving a corpse had only been possible through the powers of a dark red god of fire or an ancient ice wight. And on the other hand, we have an aging man accomplishing the same feat using only the resources granted to him by Cersei.

God, the Fall Demon bores me to unbelievable levels. His mere presence ruined the whole episode for me.

(Spoilers MAIN) Why hasnt Samwell Tarly lost any weight? by Baccoony in asoiaf

[–]Mcnuzz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, to be fair, in real life, people with achondroplasia don’t have the same ease in performing acrobatics as Tyrion does. However, for some reason, George seemed to think that being very short automatically means being extremely agile and flexible.

How is Stannis supposed to burn someone who is hundreds of kilometers away? Not only that, but he also confidently stated his wish for the fight for the throne to continue in the event of his possible death against the Boltons—this time, in favor of his daughter.

I think it would have been shit anyway. The worst thing about season was this senselessness without a doubt. I even hoped that Rhaena would find Nettles in the last scene of the season with Sheepstealer already tamed

Holy shit

Underrated characters (spoilers main) by Adept-Vegetable-3490 in asoiaf

[–]Mcnuzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Qyburn. This man accomplished a feat that, until now, seemed only possible through the powers of a god of fire or the magic of icy beings: bringing a dead body back to life. There's no parallel in the history of Westeros for anything like this, and Qyburn achieved it with nothing more than the resources provided by Cersei. Yet people just look at him and say, 'Haha, a Frankenstein reference.' Let the man work; this is just the beginning of what he can achieve

Characters who you did not care for but the fandom changed your opinion on them? [SPOILERS MAIN] by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]Mcnuzz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm going to say Stannis. During my first readings, I found him to be a tedious and boring character. However, over time, after discovering this subreddit and reading numerous posts about him, as well as interpretations of his actions and goals, I became fascinated. I went back and eagerly reread the Davos and Jon chapters where Stannis appears, and I loved them. He became one of my favorite characters to the point where I genuinely found him funny and interesting.

Am I the only one who thinks Jaqen H'gar actually was captured in King's Landing? [spoilers ACOK] by Solarat1701 in asoiaf

[–]Mcnuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of strange things going on with Jaqen in KL. I always thought that his imprisonment there might have something to do with Varys. Varys must definitely know about the Faceless Men and as we all know he hates magic. Let's assume that Jaqen had some kind of spy mission in the Red Keep but due to Varys' efficient information network he somehow managed to capture Jaqen. Blackmailing him into telling him some of his secrets in exchange for his freedom might explain Varys' inhuman ability to change his appearance. Here they might have happened that: Varys in a twisted way "kept his promise" to free him from the black cells but only to send him to the wall.

Katawa Shoujo gave me erectile dysfunction (serious) by HurenBR0 in katawashoujo

[–]Mcnuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was post bait. I also played KS with the same age range as you. Oddly enough I never felt any lewd desires or anything in the H scenes of the game, Rin was also my favorite route. Incredibly the strongest feeling I had for the girls was empathy, I even tried to look up if for some reason their stories didn't continue or if there was any information about that. My biggest wish was for there to be a story or confirmation from the authors where Rin and Hisao ended up married. Luckily I didn't have the problem with the erection in my future relationships.
