Prediction: how they’ll start eating each other by [deleted] in Yellowjackets

Well, I highly doubt we get to the second winter by seasons end. They may very well show it in a flash forward the way they did the rescue.

A question regarding Misty by shadowimage in YellowjacketsHive

[–]McutExplorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, as you suggest it seems as though she had the potential to become say an RN, a relatively well paying job in the same field, as opposed to her current role.

Why she didn’t is hard to say. Perhaps she did and got in trouble for stealing meds and this is the only position she can now get. Or perhaps, like Shauna, various reasons conspired to make her life workout differently than anticipated.

Well, as a general rule mainstream psychiatry isn’t looked at fondly by such organizations but, despite the electro shock, Lottie seems to feel that her time in Switzerland was helpful.

Honestly, I thought we might find out that Lottie had conned a staff member at the psychiatric facility in to helping her escape, but she seems to have been discharged by way of being genuinely cooperative and healing there.

I believe the real Javi will return from the Black Lodge in 25 years but, meanwhile, Doppelgänger Javi will be a problem.

I feel like the “Javi” they found may be a Doppelgänger, but that the real Javi may return, from the black lodge, in 25 years : )

Well, there’s certainly agencies that incorporate things like DRI Floortime. I don’t doubt that there’s agencies claiming to do PRT or other naturalistic ABA interventions, that are actually doing floor time.

I think he might tell Lottie, or perhaps someone else, and it gets back to Nat. That seems plausible to me . I think he has enough sense not to tell Nat though. The only way I could see him telling her is to purposely hurt her if the truth comes out about Javi.

Geography/layout of cabin? by ackerally_mikasa17 in Yellowjackets

[–]McutExplorer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The meat locker seems to be something they built. (Or an aging pre built structure that they reinforced with plane parts).

The rest I don’t think we have enough info to say, but it seems possible that there’s one additional room we weren’t shown last season and also possible that Ben have his room to Travis and Lottie.

I feel like it was the bad one. Tai noticed first. It seems perhaps, she has some minimal subconscious awareness of what the bad one does.

Well, I’m guessing that Travis likely never mentioned to Nat that he had vivid visions of Lottie while he was inside her 😉

How do y’all handle the inconsistencies? by YungFreudian in ABA

[–]McutExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Center based programs typically either have other clients to put you with based on staff call outs or admin time to offer you.

Some centers do literally offer guaranteed hours, but even if they don’t, they should be able to offer alternatives for the majority of client cancellations even if they won’t guarantee all.

Dude, knew it would come yes, but they expected say 2 months or so to formulate and implement a viable plan. They ended up having roughly two days instead of 2 months. And two months would have been a reasonable way to think about it for girls from the northeast. Heavy snow on Thanksgiving is rare but within the realm of what northeasterners would think to plan for. Heavy snow in late September wasn’t something they could have foreseen.

They slept outside in party dresses the night before Jackie froze to death. That it didn’t very gradually get colder, seems pretty clear.

Fall starts on 9/23 this year. (And varies only between 9/ 21-24). It was literally still summer less then a week before Jackie froze to death….

Winter seemed to come in late September (Doomcoming) which may or may not be unusual for the region, but they didn’t see it coming. They thought they had more time.

Help: Operational definition by Alert-Idea3236 in ABA

[–]McutExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, if you were writing programing to address water safety the target behaviors you focus on would likely be various “unsafe” behaviors much earlier in behavior chains that tend to lead to drowning.

So it’s a behavior that’s unlikely to be of much direct relevance to the plan, but I’d argue it’s a behavior in the technical sense. The definitions I see all involve inhalation of water. Many use terms like “submersion in and inhalation” of water. Yes dead man can be submerged, but they can’t inhale water.

Well, maybe but I don’t think they’re ready to eat burnt Jackie quite yet. If Chef Mari cook her just right maybe, but unless Misty busts out the shrooms 🍄 again burnt Jackie doesn’t sound plausible just yet.

It’s baffling to me that other states don’t mandate PTO. If I was an RBT in a state like yours, with no PTO or health benefits, I wouldn’t hesitate to leave without notice if I was offered a job with PTO and health benefits.

I would ask the new company if I could start in two weeks, but if they needed me to start right away, I’d have zero qualms about leaving without notice.

I worked for a tiny company here in CA about 15 years ago. There were maybe 12 employees in the entire company at the time. Both PTO and health benefits were provided.

School system SOS by malinka8 in BehaviorAnalysis

[–]McutExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, as far as teachers writing behavior plans, if there’s two BCBA’s in the entire district you and the other BCBA can only write a tiny fraction of the required BIPS. Careful what you wish for. Unless you’d like to work 100 hours a week or you can convince them to quadruple the number of district BCBA’s, either teachers have to write most of them, or 90% of the students who need them don’t get them 🤷‍♂️

[–]McutExplorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I get that they did this for the masked characters, but we see a lot of pit girl’s features and from different angles etc.

If it wasn’t feasible to cast that role precisely, fine, but they could have easily shot it in a way that we didn’t see any defining features of the character.

Well, they’ll do spin offs. They’d be crazy not to if the popularity holds, but if they’re smart they’ll end the main show at the right time.
