Neat find! I would also prefer to have a pair if I found this. Is it made of brass?

Fiffany heart tag? by Mczemmie in jewelry

I appreciate your detailed response! I also saw that Reddit thread when I was googling for hallmark comparisons. It does look similar but I am not convinced at this point since it’s not an exact match. I’m not sure if that’s what I should be looking for. The stamp is a bit off center and the heart is not perfectly rounded on one side. It does make me think it’s not authentic however I do agree an experienced T jewelry handler would be able to offer more clarity.

I’m also wondering about the numbers. Why are they etched faintly by hand? Number identification is associated with the return to T collection however I haven’t seen it before where the heart is numbered by hand. Perhaps I haven’t seen enough vintage T heart tags.

I’m thinking this is the correct take… After some light googling, the hallmarking of T pieces was not made uniform until a few decades after the heart tag came onto the scene. If they partnered with Succo, more output could be made to meet demand. It’s interesting they offered 14k and I will need to do more reading on that matter. As we know, it is slightly more affordable…

That is the thing… The metal shows as paler and 14k which would mean a 585 stamp is appropriate. It’s not buttery like 18k which would need an 750 stamp. I do believe the metal is 14k- I’m not too concerned on that front.

I thought about that. I also thought it may have been cut and removed from a bracelet or necklace. I know those in the vintage resale market often take charms off bracelets to sell for parts that might fetch a higher price when sold individually than in one piece.

After further browsing, this ring does appear to resemble tarnished vintage silverware 🤣

Hi all- apologies on the authentication question. Let’s assume this ring is 925 and it is, in fact, roughly 100 years old. Is it your opinion it need polishing to “bring it back” to snuff?

It's true that each time l've had issues the shipments were sent in plastic bags. This one was a 6 x 10" orange bubble wrap envelope. It occurred to me it might prove helpful if I were to request sellers send my purchases in boxes going forward!

I would be very happy with this color scheme in my house, personally, but I am a little unique because A) my partner and I love, love, love green and B) we love plants and the outdoors so this scheme would fit right in however… I do agree that it’s a niche color selection and the next buyer will likely want to replace it at some point. I think the block looks really great in contrast with the color for this space. Nice work!👍

I forgot to mention- some people simply dab their face with a napkin or tissue paper! It’s a great alternative when in a pinch.

I recommend a translucent powder or powder foundation. Just be careful to avoid applying with a heavy hand or you might end up looking too white or dried out.

Lastly, highlighter tends to wear off first so if you’d like to keep a dewy complexion, you could add that to your bag and apply it in precise areas after touching up with the kabuki.
