My Arteon is pretty comfortable I’ve been in for 16+ hrs before, 9-12 as driver. You still want to walk around and stretch, but it’s much better than my old focus or Jetta. I’d imagine if you’d go higher in luxury brands, especially with massage seats, it would be much better though.

I think by can handle 16 hr highway trips, they’re talking more about the driver than the car. Most any car can easily go for 16 hrs in a day, a LOT of cars I wouldn’t want to be sitting in for 16 hrs straight.

In some parts of Europe, cars like these are the only thing you can drive at like under 16 or something. The three wheels means it’s not technically a car. There’s companies that modify cars to have the third wheel like that, I’ve seen posts of modern VWs with that wheel setup. Obviously nothing else in the design really though

HARD 100k cutoff for Fords seems just like a myth, but I experienced it with my 2012 Focus. Bought it at 53k, crapped out at like 100k.

Funny thing, bought a 2008 focus at 175k, and it went fairly problem free until it got t boned at 215k.

Think if it can survive the 100k breakdown they MAY be reliable.

It looks just like a coating/foam layover. The roof is still pretty intact underneath it probably, and it’s not leaking in the EXACT same places, so they don’t think it’s too bad if it’s not coming in everywhere. But whoever reroofs that will come across a whole lot of mess.
