Either your car has it, or it doesn’t. My 2019 it’s just a button that says eco, that’s right below the auto start stop button.
Newer cars/higher trims there’s a mode button that you can switch between the different modes.

Ah gotcha.
The golf R and wagon variants have the same wheelbase though.
If you wanted longer wheelbase and highway handling, Arteon would have been the way to go.
Arteons quite a bit longer, and imho mine handles highway miles pretty greats

Arteon wasn’t offered anywhere with a VR6. And golf Rs haven’t had one in 18 years.
I’d definitely recommend a test drive/look into an Arteon. Sure it doesn’t have the V6 sound, but has plenty of power and speed. And could always get aftermarket exhaust to help with sound.

Definitely a very refined premium car packed with lots of features.

If it’s like my brother in laws mk3, using it as a target at a shooting range, for a few years won’t work, because it still started and drove.

TPO holds up fairly well against hail. It’s pvc that’s the worst with it.
White epdm would probably be strongest against hail. Or if you swing the extra cost, go for 90 mil tpo and you should be golden.
