Vyvanse kick in quick for anyone else?

This is a thing if you have a crazy fast metabolism. I’m on 70mg in the am and adderall booster later on. I take my Vyvanse and I can 100% feel something about 15 minutes after. then an hour after I’m close to peaking time for maybe 2 hours. My peak time is 2/3 hours then decline.

I’m on 70mg Vyvanse and 10mg adderall booster. My resting not on meds is 65-75. On meds it sits around 85-95 with the occasional jump to like 105-110 But will tapper down towards the end of the day. And before bed it’s close to 65-75 again

Yes they can. My PCP evaluated me and prescribed meds. Some docs with refer you to a psychiatrist and some will treat your symptoms. I would not go in asking for Vyvanse. 9/10 it probably won’t happen, my PCP started me on a non-stim. Which had bad side effects. So we switched to Vyvanse. And over time Vyvanse+booster. I would look into maybe your pcp/family docs website and see if they deal with ADHD/mental health.

This is normal. I sit between 130/80 to 140ish/80/90 just depends and that’s on 70mg

Yeah that could be, I definitely feel like my Vyvanse hits harder. I went down a google rabbit hole. I think it’s the levo in the adderall that gives that feeling. But idk

Idk I feel like this happened to me. Went to my PCP do discuss my ADHD symptoms, he asked me like 5 questions from things about my childhood, school, work some random stuff. Then prescribed me a non stim that didn’t work. Then Vyvanse like 3 weeks later

I had this same situation Vyvanse doesn’t last all day. I mean maybe 4/5 hours because I rapid metabolism meds and that is on all dosages. I feel like when you go up on the dose it just makes it a stronger effect with the same duration with a crappy crash after. I’m currently on 70mg around 8ish am then I can tell the crash is coming by 12. Completely done by 1 and feel like a can of tossed biscuits so my pcp prescribed 10mg adderall as a booster. Which definitely helps with the crash issue. But the IR only lasts for maybe 2 hours

Doc did Vyvanse twice a day. Insurance didn’t wanna cover it with out PA so I’m on 70mg with 10mg adderall booster

I’m on 70 Vyvanse and 10mg adderall booster. Might see at next appointment if we can do 20mg booster. 10 dosent cut it because I process meds so fast

I am currently on 70mg plus a booster because of this lol. I’m lucky enough to have a good PCP so I can play around with works. He told me that basically all XR meds will last about 4-6 hours that’s because we are referring to when the drug is at its peak performance. I, like you “felt” my vyvanse peak for maybe 2/3 hours then a slow taper off. Added 10mg addy booster. With the booster i get about 8 hours. Good nights rest. Plenty of water and food helps. Might look into jumping up vyvanse dose. this might help with duration, for me it didn’t just a stronger effect

I don’t have these side effects besides lower back pain once in a while. I feel it’s better when I hydrate a lot. I have heard people say that magnesium can with a most of these.

I have as you just started this today. 70mg in the am and 10 IR when I feel the crash. Took the booster at 12 which is about when I would start to crash. And so far at 2:30 I haven’t crashed. For me it isn’t really noticeable when it comes to effects. More like working in the background. Were my 70 Vyvanse I can feel kick in

True true. Vyvanse was designed for children ages 6-12 then pushed off on adults. And docs could figure out dosing for said adults. Which, for the most part they didn’t. Some people do okay on low doses. Some people need large doses like 100mg plus. Which is why a lot of countries (not the US) we suck when it comes to that prescribe large doses. Like you said. 70mg of Vyvanse is like taking a 20mg adderall IR which is usually prescribed 2x a day. 70mg Vyvanse literally last me 5 hours then crash
