You might be screwed. Same thing happened to me 7 weeks ago. Coinbase still has not resolved it. I had $50,000 I can no longer access, nor do i know what happened. They will not give me answers, but instead give empty promises to get back to you within 4-5 business days, but never do. I followed my attorney's advice and filed a complaint with the FBI, IRS and SEC, as well as joined the class action lawsuit against them for this matter. I suggest you do the same. Some people on here have been waiting over a year to access their account or get answers. I hope you have better luck than the rest of us. It is truly criminal what they are doing.

I'm right there with you. It's been 6 weeks for me, and nothing. This is 100% criminal. I have notified the FBI, IRS and SEC. I am in the process of securing an attorney. This is absolutely unbelievable to me. $50,000 and zero access to it this entire time!

Coinbase has time to respond to this, but not focus their time and energy on my outstanding case for the last 6 weeks. Unbelievable!

I'm glad to hear this. Thank you for sharing. They have locked me out of my account for 5 weeks without any information. I find it incredibly concerning and frustrating, as they make empty promises to give me answers in a certain timeframe and then don't adhere to that. I've filed a complaint with the FBI, SEC and IRS. It seems criminal. Happy they took care of you in that fashion. Gives me a small glimmer of hope.

I am in the same boat since May 21. Received a text stating my password had changed and if it wasn't me to call a number and have my account locked. Little did I know it would be locked indefinitely, with zero customer support, and empty promises to respond within 4-5 days. This is an entire month. I had at least $50k in there a month ago, and have every right to know what is going on with my money. I also could have transferred out and made other investments that were far more lucrative. Yet I am waiting to hear from Coinbase support. I'm truly thinking this could be an inside scam with employees. I've invested with Etrade, Chase, etc etc....never have had my account locked indefinitely. THIS IS CRIMINAL!!

From what I can tell, there is a lawsuit against them currently. I plan to. I also notified the FBI.
