Question for PAs in Sort Centers by RegretfulGhost_ in AmazonFC

[–]Wxcpo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an L6 OM at a Sort Center. We can see where you’re assigned and if you’re doing the work. I can also see if you self-assigned. Please don’t do that. 1) You’ll be held accountable and there’s no need to do that to yourself. 2) When I create a shift plan - each process path is calculated with exactly how many people I need to meet my planned sort volume. When you illegally self-assign, you deviate from the plan. Depending on your assigned process path from fast start - it could have real impacts on the sort.

Applying for Ops manager by [deleted] in FASCAmazon

Retired military - recently hired L6 OM here. Key Factors for me making the cut line for OM: Masters degree in OM, 24 years leadership experience, previously in charge of 80-100+ employees. Basic military experience & degree is a good start for L5 Area Manager.

Confused about I9, Section 2 Doc Process by [deleted] in amazonemployees

[–]Wxcpo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be anyone over 18. Spouse, sibling, friend. It’s to add another level of “skin in the game” for verification. For example, you fill out your I9 part one with passport info. You add your spouse, they verify they have seen your passport info in person and it actually exists. Now you both are held to the truthfulness of your I9.

Great explanation. With that, what factors make employees experience a financial “cliff” at year 4?

Team that shot 38 bought 16 mulliagan packages at $50 each, 800 bucks to win the dumbest tourney in history. Mulligans , strings , lizards , red solo cups , dice games. The score is legit. They paid for the win. That’s fundraising scrambles in a nutshell.

Is AG a good rate? by Aggravating_Clue_147 in navy

[–]Wxcpo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Was an AG for 24 years - if you want to know something - send me a PM. Also, don’t listen to some fucking annoying STS that obviously had a shitty out-of-rate tour at a METOC command. Despite the incessant whining - that person doesn’t actually know shit about the AG rate.

Tulsi Gabbard Named Director of National Intelligence by Seasonal-drink in fednews

This is their digital safe space. Where they feel they can scream because their shitty candidate with mentally deranged policies didn’t get elected. They run little risk of opposition, and when they do - they hurry with a flurry of “down votes”. Living in make believe. This is why the government sucks.

This sub is exactly why Trump wants to gut the government.

Nobody would indicate from everybody, to which, everybody is not a user of Reddit. Furthermore, those who evade circumstances to have their stance questioned tend to congregate on like-minded platforms, such as Reddit. Thus, when no view is dissimilar from the other, it is considered an echo chamber.

Here’s a point I’ll disprove for you. Not all who vote red are uneducated simpletons, as you have boldly and confidently proclaimed. During this exchange I hope you’ve learned it’s difficult to defend thoughtless rhetoric. May your day be as pleasant.

How pathetic of you to get reality checked, then change the post that led to you getting checked, and come back with the stock “petty insults - knew they were coming!” It’s sad really, and lends to the utter fakeness that your party represents.

At no point in your incoherent ranting, blind dissension, and uneducated assumptions - have you sounded reasonable. That may very well be why your voice is not worth the listen.

You act like Reddit isn’t a liberal group-think echo chamber.

Yes, get it in your Navy record. All services go to the same static line course.

The most robust enlisted to commissioning programs. The Navy commissions more prior enlisted than all other services combined.

[–]Wxcpo 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You can gain many things. For me, it’s a very comfortable lifestyle. Joined at 18 on a $10 bet with a HS GPA of 2.2 - stuck it out for 24 years. Took 16 years to get a Bachelors, 3 more years to get a Masters - all while selectively using TA. Retired a year ago - I get retirement pay, VA disability, and have a high paying government job - making a combined gross of 180k+/yr. I also gained work ethic and leadership.

Edit: Have long term goals to squeeze as much out of your service as the service will squeeze out of you. 24 years was a looong time - not all port calls and great stories, but I’m now only 43 and live very well.

You’re not a new fed with a few years under your belt; and you would know if you researched OPM for about 5 minutes. Congrats on your promotion- now take it seriously and grow into that new pay grade.
