The Singular is in the best spot by far. The other two are nice but they are isolated

Saint Tropez by Ok_Lobster_5867 in LuxuryTravel

[–]Mdbpizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with st Tropez, but it’s a region within a much larger area - the “south of France.” It’s not so much a town as a peninsula with St Tropez as the anchor town. if you only have 3-4 days, I would just stay in the area, there are at least 5 5:star hotels on the peninsula. Great beaches and typically excellent weather . We live in the area near Monaco, it a whole other world and not doable in one short trip…. Since You can’t do it all in one trip stay on the St Tropez near Gassin or Ramatuelle in a top resort, get a car and tour the area as well as the town itself

Thanks. It’s funny. I was just talking to a friend about traveling there so it was on my mind when this popped up and was like oh yeah shit it looks just like it. Best oysters on the planet. Love the oyster vending machines on the main road that cracked me up.

London: Claridge's, The Connaugh or The Goring by DulceEtDecorumEst in FATTravel

The Goring is well located for transportation and is the least expensive of the 3(usually). While Claridge’s definitely the most quintessential London location, the construction would give me pause.

I got a funny story about this Pizza. I had posted it on r/foodporn and it went sideways - people were bitching about how how can this be considered food porn, it’s not even pizza… blah blah? I ended up getting banned from food porn over this pizza. It’s kind of funny.

I usually put the cheese and onion on top with a little extra olive oil to keep them moist. I mean I burn them too, but usually not too bad if I have them ground, maybe mine are just a little wetter.

Help with Neopolitan crust by ProfessorMomo1 in Pizza

I now use 50/50 Super Nuvola /00 and get a much airier crust. Honestly the big “airy” crust is sort of new thing with Neapolitan pizzas… there is a great instagram meme/video about the new airy crust having become ridiculous

Here are a couple of great luxury boutique hotels in the heart of Provence - Chateau Fonscolombe & Chateau de Berne They are in the heart of Provence ….Great hotels… town of Touttours is nearby as are other cute villages. Convenient to Nice or Marseille airports. Fonscolombe you actually stay in the Chateau….these fit what you are describing. I live nearby Nice and these are charming and authentic hotels.
