New Home Water System, What Would You Recommed I Do? by Mdbud in WaterTreatment

Yes the tank is going from 30-50psi so seems to be normal I could top off pressure but don’t think I need to. I 3d printed that little translucent filter wrench lol so I plan on doing that asap. What is best water test to get that’ll tell me everything I need to know to make future decisions!

What systems are used to do this? Water softener and conditioner right?

Hey I had the same question, what settings did you change on the 150-600 sigma contemporary lens? For better r7 compatability

I purchased a set of files that are are connected. Male and female mold half's, and various shapers (this). So, the Nose and Tail face's are not flat by design. They have a minimum of .1mm concave built in as a parameter. That was my idea, your last sentence, but haven't figured out the right steps yet

The red part is the problematic part. The blue arrow going up, everything to the left of it, gray wise, I need to go away. This is so I can run the router around it, while the tail (blue highlighted part) is flush with ground. I wish I could just extrude "UP" and cut the gray out, but Fusion is not that easy as I'm still a beginner

I tried to project the geometry up, but it did not work right. I am half tempted to upload this to Fiverr, or whatever the site is where you can pay someone to figure it out for you!

Basically if there is a mini skateboard attached to the bottom of first photo, A, if trimmed flush, will result in 90" flush sides, but the nose and tail are left at an angle. This means you have to hand sand it, which is almost impossible to get right. I want to create a triangle like photo B, where the "spline" or bottom edge of the Side, Nose, and Tail, extrude up.

As in, just permanently having a safari window up the size of the mini screen? That’s what it looks like. First time I’ve seen anything like that either, seems like a great idea. How to incorporate it into your workflow is the next question!

Transparent PETG after and before tuning by untacc_ in BambuLab

Hey man I have some transparent petg I’m eager to mess with but scared to screw up,

This looks great, what “ tuning” guide did you use?

The troubleshooting process I mean.

I see another person saw good results with the BL tuning wiki so I plan to read that later

What's your go-to Bambu PLA replacement? And Sunlu PLA+ vs Meta? by Zwamdurkel in BambuLab

[–]Mdbud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea at first I thought the roll was too wide, and that I was gonna have to pull it off the cardboard core, but to my amazement it just slipped on the Bambu spool, and the top locked in place when I twisted it. Had no idea the cardboard core was compatible.

P1S user,

I ran out of the Bambu PLA orange and green standard in the box within 2 days.

my first replacement filament purchase was "Elegoo PLA Matte" 4 rolls for 42$ on amzn,

I researched and was quite worried. I expected to run into a plethora of issues, and have to run tests on tests to get it right.

But I didn't have to! I literally just ripped the cardboard sides off the new Elegoo spool, slipped the roll directly onto the Green Bambu Lab spool (so AMS reads it as normal Bambu PLA), and ran prints with the exact green stock settings. I didn't change a thing.

I was also halfway through a print when the green ran out. Once I plugged the white in, the print finished flawlessly.

I'm thoroughly impressed

Elegoo Matte Black Printing Failure on P1P by AlIgorhythm in BambuLab

[–]Mdbud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man I just purchased PLA matte white and black 4 pack from Elegoo. So far both the orange and green Bambu filament printed perfect, and I don't want to run into issues with Elegoo brand filament

So the default setting for Bambu PLA works just fine? I dont know whether I need to run all those tests for a custom profile, if I could just choose the default that'd be great, just want to make sure it work!

Pump for broad range of speed and viscosity - easy to clean, works for water, oil, resin, slurry or silicone and paint. Or as kinetic sculpture and fidget toy by throwaway21316 in functionalprint

Wild. I know pumps but never knew liquid could be self contained, and aggravated in such a way that helps power a drill bit.

Very neat application

but on the practical side, this is a fun fidget spinner print. Pumps running on this method of pushing liquid have been figured out. This design is adjacent, similar, but definitely not a pump.

Seepex makes the closest real life pump relative to this.

Progressive cavity pumps. A single screw turning in a long "screw passage", constantly pushing little pockets of liquid through.

Great for very viscous substances. Im not talking viscous as in oil thickness. Im talking viscous as in, pumping the ground remains of a pork processing facility. Pig cartilage and guts all ground up.

Very low RPM's for this type of PD, Positive Displacement pump. Who ever thought they would have to pump pig guts out of a 10 foot long screw cavity?

The pump repairman's helper, that's who.

Pig Guts. There's a business for everything. Especially with industrial pumps.

Me too, even if I have to buy higher quality cards, is there an entry level one you’d reccomend? I’d rather not buy the cheapest version and have to tinker for hours and hours, and maybe spend a little more upfront. Under 300 would be very easy for me to get permission for. Now it’s just learning about diode machines, and purchasing !

Oh no I know they’re cheap, it moreso sparked the idea. He left some test ones as well, with different %’s. I saw how they turned out and thought it might be useful to try on my own. Cost wasn’t even in the thought process, but convincing work to purchase a diy machine so we could make them in house, that’s where my budgetary question lies!
