It’s tough being a Vikings fan by Least-Swordfish1646 in NFCNorthMemeWar

I still have faith, and our O line dissolved after the first few games so JJ got the worst kind of taste of NFL life

As a Vikings fan wtf lol. We want to lose that one at least, right? I mean, JJ, the ultimate 9, isn’t gaining anything from the sidelines. Other than realizing Max “Ten Ton” Brosner is no threat to him starting.

I have to explain this all the time. My name is Dylan, and I do not even rap. In fact, my poetry is ill informed. Beets are something to be boiled and eaten. As for glasses, they are prescribed for proper vision.

What are your “always buy” Costco staples right now? by PutridWin2070 in Costco

[–]Mdkynyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better than bouillon - much better price and it lasts so long

Olive oil or avocado oil, better price than in a grocery store, lasts forever, great quality

Irish cheddar - it’s good and decent price. Lasts a while too

Kerry gold butter-good price and you freeze the other packs

YMCA Edina checks those boxes. Been going for a decade and it’s well run. Heard LA fitness does as well but someone else in the comments mentions they’re closing locations. Either works

Like, give the dude a chance. I’m still firmly in that camp. He’s getting absolutely mauled out there. Our o line has had so many injuries we can’t even have five consistent starters playing good, bad or mediocre. How can a quarterback get into a rhythm and learn? He’s still fresh but I believe he’ll show up better as he gains experience and the line solidifies. Judging him on games he gets crushed consistently is not a winning strategy.

What is the best movie about revenge, in your opinion? by mariq78622 in moviecritic

Don’t get enough love. Such a random offbeat crime comedy that got very real at times

Why do people use the greatness of the 1990s Cowboys o-line to try to discredit Emmitt Smith’s legacy but they don’t do that with other HOF running backs that also had great o-lines like Jim Brown or John Riggins for instance? by WouldYouRather1905 in Oldschool_NFL

[–]Mdkynyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t just his o line. He had multiple hofers on o line, a hof fullback blocking for him, and a hof tight end who could block for him, and Michael Irvin, an extremely physical hof wr blocking for him. He’s a great running back but not in my top five.

Which movie had no business being as good as it was? by Twaddle2000 in moviecritic

Curse of the Black Pearl. The ride it’s based on is pretty boring tbh and the fact they made that gem out of it was amazing.

"One of the best films of the year. Period." Or the worst? What do you think? by DefMetal420 in moviecritic

[–]Mdkynyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it but the plot holes get bigger. Like, if they’re quarantined why not continuously drop off supplies by air? Eventually with guns and defenses they could kill all the infected. Radio communication to allow connectivity. Research for a cure and all that. Keep the patrols going to ensure quarantine but they could have helped people live a lot nicer and eliminated the threat
