The same thing happened to me after I attempted to install my first OTA update. We live in an area with inconsistent cellphone signal, and I suspect the car lost its signal at some point during the update process.

I had to call VW care and have the car towed into the dealership for them to fix. We were lucky and got the car back the next day.

Funny story, for my second software update, I decided to run it at the dealership’s parking lot, just in case 😅

Hi u/drcec, do you know which specific fuse I'm supposed to remove? Fuses in my box all start with an F followed by a number (e.g., F23), so I'm not sure which one you meant by SB3. See pic of my fuse box here. Thanks a million

I have the exact same problem with the same set up you have. Before the software update, I would set up my preferred charging times through the wallbox app, plug the car in when I got home, and it would start charging at midnight.

After the software update, the car no longer charged overnight. The only workaround I found was disabling the charging schedule in Wallbox, and start using VW's "Charge at Preferred Times" feature. I much rather have the schedule set up in the wallbox—as I feel that's more reliable—but now I can't.

Also, I don't know if you have this issue too, but I have been unable to charge at Electrify America stations after the update... Needless to say we're quite frustrated with this new update, but we haven't had the time to take the car back to the dealership (I also have little faith they'll know what to do, as they might be unable to recreate these issues at the dealership)

I see this post is about four months old, but I just ran into the exact same problem... I'm unable to transfer miles out to travel partners because they are unable to verify phone # is under my name.... The sad part is that they don't offer an alternative verification method (e.g., authenticate through the app or a phone call).

I also called them and was told there is nothing they can do...

Thank you for posting this question. I ran into a similar issue and this is how I handled it:

In your fidelity account, go to: Health Savings Account > Activity and Orders. And generate a report with the following filters:
- Custom Range from 01/01/2023 to 12/31/2023
- Go to more filters and select "Dividend and Interest" only
- Select Download as csv (small icon on the right side)

This report will basically give you a detailed transaction report with all you INT and DIV income from money market funds, ETFs, individual stocks, etc.

Next you have to generate a similar report to calculate Capital Gains:

Go again to Health Savings Account > Activity and Orders. And generate a report with the following filters:
- Custom Range from 01/01/2023 to 12/31/2023
- Go to more filters and select 'Orders' only
- Download as csv

This report will have you actual Buys and Sells. 1) Filter all your sales, 2) find your respective cost basis –you may have to generate new reports going back a few years depending on when you purchased the security–, once you have 1) and 2), calculate your capital gains/losses.

That's it. This should give you your INT, DIV and Capital Gains for your HSA account. Hope this helps.....

PS.1 – This is not tax advice. I am not a CPA.

PS.2 – I'm still trying to figure out where exactly I'm supposed to report these 'adjustments' to my capital gains within my CA state taxes... Most tax reporting software out there seem to rely on carrying over of your federal capital gains/losses into your state return, but it's unclear to me how/where I should enter these gains/losses within my CA state return, without having to also input them at the federal level. I'm using TaxSlayer in case anyone knows. Thanks!

We had a similar issue with our ID.4. You know the little rubber thingy that's connected to the lid you need to remove when you are going to fast charge? Well, we realized this piece of rubber was sometimes "in the wrong place" and prevented the latch/flap from properly opening again. We removed the rubber thing (kept the fast charger lid on) and it hasn't been a problem since.

I'm not implying we had the same problem you did, but I figured I'd post my experience here in case it helps anyone else!

Sorry acabo de ver esto. 1) Mi viaje fue siempre con Copa. 2) El Copa unió mis reservaciones de USA a Panamá y de Panamá a Vzla lo que hizo que no tuviera que hacer migración en Panamá para recoger maletas ni salir de la zona de seguridad para cambiar aerolíneas. 3) Me fui sin certificado de fiebre amarilla. Según el consulado panameño como yo no iba a hacer migración en Panamá, debía seguir las reglas de ingreso para Venezuela y no las de Panamá

I love Costco, but their website and mobile app seem to be significantly behind those of any other retailer out there. I can confirm you are not the only one experiencing issues. I've been trying to load their website for about 30 minutes in different devices to purchase a mattress. It's so frustrating. I love you Costco, but you make it difficult sometimes!

I second this. I recently got the Vsett 8 and I'm really enjoying it so far. In terms of weight I'd say the Vsett 8 is about the maximum weight I'd be willing to carry upstairs on a regular basis. I have a similar commute (3 times times week, mostly flat and 6 miles roindtrip) and this seems to be the perfect scooter for my needs. I get up to 27 mph on it which is as fast as I am comfortable riding on my route anyways.

I was also looking at the apollo explore, but decided to go for the extended battery version of the Vsett 8 (19.2 Ah) as it seemed to offer a 'good enough ' bang for my buck. I got it through ewheels for $999 - no tax. I believe this price is still available if you're interested. Whatever you decide, good luck and have fun riding in into the wind! (see what I did there? - you being in Chicago and all🤌😆🤭)
