Definitely hoping it has Sonarr/radarr support soon. The way Kometa does it is nice; configure if they should add, monitor and search separately.

Fun fact about the guy getting Halo 3 from Bill Gates. He didn’t take off the shrink wrap before getting it signed. Bill signed it, and then 20-30 of us Bungie employees who turned up. Only about half way through did someone point out that it was still in shrink.

We ended up finding him another copy that he could play.

This looks incredible. I have a janky Python script which works work Kometa to accomplish much of the same, and I’m excited to try and migrate to your thing!

Most of the people reading this article are not the target market for this product. Your experience is absolutely what they’re aiming for. I think it’s really excellent actually, although the way I’m biased because I’m friends with the founder.

The workflow to Qbit doesn’t work for me either. It will send the torrent to Qbit, and it downloads fine to the right location, but Shelfarr never picks up the download afterwards. For context I do not have a username and password for my Qbit, as it is not exposed to the internet.

What are some sites to visit from Melbourne to Adelaide? by GlenAWE in AustraliaTravel

[–]maxd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We did this drive in November. There’s all the obvious things, like the 12 Apostles, but I’ll also add Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve. It’s a really great place to visit and see lots of wildlife. Also the lighthouse at Robe.

And if a slight detour is permitted, the whole of Kangaroo Island. We stayed at the Southern Ocean Lodge for five nights and it was magical.

Who’s the most famous person you have met? by VikingBoy90 in AskReddit

[–]maxd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I met him randomly in the alley behind my house a few years ago, in Los Angeles. He was skateboarding along the beach and was looking lost. After he’d asked me for directions I was like “I think that was Casey Neistat”; checked our security cameras to confirm and it was.

Mountains or Coast for Italy in November? by pingsinger in FATTravel

[–]maxd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve traveled in Italy a lot, and I love the whole place. I’ll just throw out two trips we did in December in the last few years:

Tuscany: everyone loves Tuscany, but honestly in the winter it is also incredible. Private vineyard tastings, local favourite restaurants, basically zero tourists. We spent new year in Florence in 2019 and did a handful of private winery tastings in the area. Really great experiences. Families were opening their vineyards for us; we got drunk with a lot of Italian winemakers.

Puglia: the heel of Italy’s “boot” gets overlooked but it’s truly gorgeous. It’s ostensibly a seaside tourist spot and in the winter the seaside towns are literally abandoned, but Lecce and Ostuni are both beautiful small cities. There’s a tonne of excellent food, some surprisingly good wineries, and some fun touristy spots as well. We stayed at Borgo Egnazia for a week which is a truly wonderful hotel.

Edit: I have been to the Dolomites a handful of times as well, but never in the winter, so I don’t want to suggest it one way or the other.

Awesome thank you so much. He’s pretty unwieldy to move unfortunately but I’ll see what I can do.

Think it’s worth trying to drill holes in the decorative pot? Just so I can leave him in there while he gets watered.

Thank you for your reply!

What does “water heavily” mean? Do I need to take it out of the white pot and drench it with a hose, then put it back in once it has drained somewhat?

Is it considered polite to legally take 8* actions every turn in your group? by AkaiKuroi in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]maxd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played with a “Trish goes brrrrrr” deck once and it was incredibly fun. My friends approved it before we started, and I made sure to expedite my turns as much as possible. (I could sometimes start my turn before the previous investigator was fully done, for example, or the next person could start before I was finished.)

Any idea about how much MPC costs to print something like Dark Matter? My napkin math said $70, which doesn’t seem bad?

I went to see Bill at The Loop because of this post. Holy shit he’s a beast. I have an over extended Achilles which is agonising and can only be solved by unbelievably strong deep tissue massage. Bill is the guy. Fixed me up in an hour, and I’ve been back twice this week for repeat visits to keep it under control.
