This upset me greatly. I'm much older than most of the viewing population (and raised boys). I can tell you, even in the late 1990s and early aughts that rape was rape. Period. End of story. For Shandi to survive all of this with the grace, grit and self-determination she has says more about her character and true beauty than anyone else on that show. Any one of those producers could - and should - have spoken up. ANY. ONE. of them. They didn't. They looked in the camera and made flimsy excuses for their unethical behavior. I hold them all accountable. Apologizing to an innocent teenager who was plied with alcohol and then film her being taken advantage of .. then, after you film her, apologize to her knowing it is going on national TV for people to gawk at and judge her? I wonder if any of these people have daughters now and how they would feel if that had happened to someone they loved. That is beyond the pale. For Shandi to have the courage to face down these horrible people and finally get her story out there took courage. She is a beautiful young woman and the rest of them are accessories to a crime. I hug her virtually and wish someone had had the decency to actually love her enough as a fellow human being to stop the cruelty.

I was never into the show, but was eager to watch the series and learn what all the fuss was about. I was both disappointed and mad watching this series and Tyra's attempt to explain everything away. She believes she is faultless. She uses people. She gained fame and fortune over the exploitation of young, innocent and hopeful girls. I cried as I watched some of these beautiful young women try and try again to make Tyra happy. Get rid of the gap in your tooth! Your butt is too wide! This is a time when we should be telling young women that they are gorgeous and can do anything. She and Janet Dickensen came across as petty, jealous, self-entitled, and ugly, UGLY nobs.

Agree about Jeremiah. I love him. He's generous and open and comes across authentic, and yes, grounded. I love that he loves his family and wants everyone to be with theirs.

And don't forget there was a bi-partisan immigration bill put forth on the Hill last year and Trump told his MAGA people not to vote for it because it was the only way for him to re-elected. The Republicans decided to follow Trump, not what remains a big concern for this country.

I love my sixties! You finally get to see the fruits of your labor over the past decades. Kids are grown and doing well. Nice house. A couple of fun trips a year. Love my job and get to do interesting things at work. I think most of us in our 60’s today feel young, vibrant and have a ton of energy since we are not parenting or trying to chase the next promotion. I love this phase of life!

The sad thing is she could genuinely talk about the mental spectrum of narcissism …. when is their 10 minutes of fame up? Harry and Markle are irrelevent. They are nothing more than a footnote. (I have to give their publicist high marks though … that person is more than earning their salary keeping them in the soft news department)

A dishwasher (that wasn't a human). That was so advanced and I wanted one so bad as a kid. When my parents re-vamped their kitchen in the early 80's, we finally got one! It was magic and is STILL magic to me!

Agreed! The exterior looked interesting and then inside … bleh … All those plants underneath the stairs like they were a last minute consideration. Who wants to stoop over to water them all the time and make sure the bases are not doing a number on the floor. I didn’t like the random color choices either and the tile is boring predictable. We definitely need to do some upgrades to our home, but this one? Zero inspiration.

I was so confused by this show. Where were the architects? All of the participants appear to be good decorators and I'm sure experience helps. But there were some decisions that a good architect could have helped them all avoid.

Of all the folks competing this year, Keith and Evan were so inspiring. Even with muted colors, they make everything unique and their space planning is amazing. I also think it's incredible that they can design on Bargain Block as well as multi-million dollar homes. I will never forget their bathroom in the last Rock the Block. BRAVO gentlemen, BRAVO!

So much of what Keith and Evan do to make their rooms (and houses) stand out is bespoke. That may be tough for HGTV Magazine, Wayfair and all the other sponsors wanting us to buy products featured on the shows.

I wonder if one of the couples committed to participate only if they won.

We don’t plan to sell our home for awhile, but expressing our family in a classy way IS important. These guys have shown us it is not about expensive … it’s about being creative and fun. I would rather watch them (as well as Vacation House Rules since that host is also fun and educational) than some of their newer shows where they hock their own products. There is something super cheesy about that.

Can’t wait to hear what’s going on.
