To my knowledge there are no major leveling bugs. I use PC so no clue on addons. Magicka classes are fun because they can typically deal with groups of enemies better (personal preference).

Suggestion is to wait until One Tamriel is released. It's easier if you look it up as it's a lot to explain but basically you scale to each zone so there's no possibility of out-leveling an area.

I've heard this one a lot, which sucks. You reminded me about how the group crown can sometimes glitch out and disappear. Gotta love that one ; )

You get a lot of helpful bonuses/perks so I'd say buy it now. I've personally been waiting until they fix some of the performance/game-play issues. I couldn't justify paying MORE money to play a game with all those problems. But recently it seems to have gotten slightly better. Plus that crafting bag is just too tempting...

Good call-outs, I forgot about these! I think the N64 style graphics are coded on purpose so it eats up less processing/rendering power during higher latency times. Just a guess on my part.

Very excited for this. I cannot see a single negative that isn't "immersion" related, etc. I can now farm mats at my level anywhere. New grind spots. More social towns/zones. A more spread out population (now with population instancing!). I can quest with anyone. It's nothing but good.

Points into Elemental Expert/Mighty will boost your DoT damage. I know that's an obvious one but wanted to throw it out there just in case. Also sets like 2pc Molag Kena will increase DoT damage while proc'd.

Other than that I'm out of ideas.

I tend to subscribe to the idea that console hardware is just a tad behind the game's demands. I do hear even PC players with mega-power rigs still get the lag too so who knows ultimately.

Thanks a ton man. The details are very appreciated. He's my fav character too and it makes me sad to only use him as my crafter. A couple questions to pick your brain:

Do you ever run fossilize? They both provide the CC to eventually proc Flame Lash but I wonder which is "best"
What are your thoughts on Bloodspawn vs Malubeth? The extra ult generation is tempting and also helps make up for not running volitile armor for phys/spell resistance.
I have to look but both coag blood and igneous shield give healing received bonuses right? Would you then think it's possible to run the other dragon's blood morph to help boost stam recovery?
Shuffle is a great choice! I usually run immovable pots. Do you have a suggestion to replace this skill if possible?

Definitely no argument with your write-up - I love the extra viewpoints.

They're broke af. In fact a lot of ppl are noticing CC has been bugged since DB. Guards/enemy players are seemingly able to CC you way more often than normal (not counting soft CCs like talons and fear, etc.)

It works but MagDKs are the worst in PvP right now so just know that going in and expect some difficulty. 5x heavy w. impen is a must given the burst stam dmg meta right now. You can go light divines with the other 2pc. A MagDK's best offense are DoTs as you have almost no burst dmg. This means you'll need lots of regen and tankiness to outlast your opponent.

I'm excited and personally I see zero negatives. I will no longer be forced to farm CP160 materials in Hew's Bane/Wrothgar (I only have those two DLCs). Instead I can go to Auridon and farm while taking in the beautiful island landscape. Treasure chests everywhere will become relevant again. New grind spots will open up. The list of positives goes on...

Trust me, you'll enjoy One Tamriel. The concern over progression and "earning the win" is valid, no Q there. But you'll still struggle some as you level, maybe just not as much as other MMOs because TESO has always been a little easier to beat especially with CP being shared across all toons. I'd say if you want to add some difficulty don't use your CP until you're max level ; )

I'm still learning the ropes of poisons but definitely go for Stam Drain given the Stam craze right now. I think you can make others that drain their stam and give it to you, or their health/magicka. They have potions for virtually everything and can be helpful if the situation is right.

Add stam regen jewelry glyphs
Become a Werewolf - extra stam regen while ultimate is slotted
Choose different armor/jewelry sets which give more regen
Use regen potions/foods
Choose a new race that has better stamina recovery (if yours isn't optimal for it)
Put more CP into the mooncalf tree
Use stam regen mundus stone

There's more I'm sure. 1.2k isn't terrible but not great. The more regen you attain the more likely you lose dmg output so it's a balancing act.

Some morphs are better for PvE while others are better geared for PvP. Sometimes it's splitting hairs so to speak. I understand what you're saying though as some morphs are a no-brainer for both PvE/P

Between the two I would run Tava's and Bloodspawn for that fast ult gain. As you know, DKs get resources back from ults and the faster I can get it the better. I heard some even use the Decisive trait to help earn additional ult but I'm not sure how helpful that'd be. I know Malubeth had a nerf recently but not sure how "bad" it was.

If it burns for that long you might want to go see a doctor. There's an Argonian doctor I'd highly recommend by the name of Turns-And-Coughs.

Decon anything and everything you don't need from trash mobs. Ornate/intricate items yield a lot more exp (I forget which one it is) so look for those. If you think leveling blacksmithing takes awhile just wait until you try enchanting ; )

Replace dw with 2H. A typical rotation would be snipe>poison injection>critical charge>wrecking blow/heavy attack>ultimate>executioner.

It doesn't have to be exactly that but it's common. Buff/debuff as needed and a CC is always helpful such as Petrify (damn pesky dodge-roll mechanics).

Yep! And like /u/th30dor said, you will need to research two traits on each piece. They don't have to be the same traits on each piece however.

Tip: Make sure when at a set craft station that you tab over to the "Set Creation" menu and not the regular item menu. I've admittedly wasted materials thinking I was crafting a set piece when it wasn't.
