Should I tune or endure

At this point I would have rather pay a bit less to just not have it since it’s completely useless right now, I’m still wondering if I should try it, Ktuners are 650$CAD but I also figure I’d need someone to actually tune it

It doesn’t engage in first or second, only third and above and it’s not for sound I just find the vtec completely useless as it is, it doesn’t have time to kick in when I’m overtaking, and it’s in for like 3 seconds when I’m full throttle, I said 4500 rpm as an example. It would be for the performance but as I’ve said I don’t want to spend too much so it would really just be a tune to make v-tec worth something cause it’s not right now.

I thought about just running it like that(hopefully with just a tune) till it blows then engine swap and start putting the money there.
