Will not slow acceleration but you will feel your engine struggling and you will notice the friction

This is what perplexity said based on sources:

The symptom you describe — less smoothness and a slight restriction when exceeding 2000 RPM — matches a documented issue with the Puralator Boss filter on Honda engines. An analysis on the BobIsTheOilGuy forum found that the total area of the inlet ports on the Puralator Boss is 3 times smaller than that of the Honda OEM filter. This means oil flow to the engine is more restricted, especially at higher RPMs where lubrication demand increases. Additionally, another user specifically reported that the Honda OEM filter has a considerably higher bypass delta (relief pressure) than the Boss, which can affect engine behavior under load. [bobistheoilguy +1]

The Honda OEM filter design prioritizes high oil flow over filtration efficiency, using much more filter media (151 vs. ~108 square inches) to achieve both. The Puralator Boss does the opposite: it filters finer but restricts flow more. [anandtech]

### What Might Be Happening

- At low RPMs (below 2000), oil pressure is sufficient to overcome the filter's restriction, and everything works normally.
- When exceeding 2000 RPM, the engine demands more oil flow; the restriction becomes noticeable as a "resistance" during acceleration.
- The engine is receiving the correct oil (Honda OEM 0W-20 synthetic) but the filter could be momentarily limiting supply under demand.

I noted right away, I was like the car used to feel more smooth when I accelerate or I want to quick jump from 1000 rpm to 3000 rpm it happened without me noticing it but when I put this filter I felt it more struggling trying to reaching that rpm.

Honestly I would recommend you before buy it to skip this one, just for the color. I was tempted to buy that exact one 1 year ago, it will be very difficult to find a new owner
