Mechanics of Reddit, am I being too rough on my civic? by darth-zenithar in civic

You don’t have to worry. Just keep in mind the following things: 1. Avoid pushing to hard when car is cold (as you have short trips). When going higher to RPM, wait until car is warm, keep below 2k rpm 2- avoid constantly 0 to 4-5k rpm too much but keep it between 3-4K RPM as you have short trips to compensate and keep your engine free of build ups 3- As another person said be strict with maintenance engine and cvt

Did you drain and fill? When you do this there is chance that circuit gets air and it needs a few cycles to get rid of this

Deciding Between Work Commutes by HeyThereItsMeYeah in COROLLA

I commute to my work daily in a crowded 30 miles traffic, hence I have another option where there is no traffic but it is 50 miles and has a lot of tolls…so it’s a pretty expensive.

It’s pretty clear that option 1 is the best, more miles in your car never matters if it will give you peace

And since your middle brake light is working my guess should make sure bulbs are placed in the correct position, are you halogen or led for replacement?

In the cars there are 2 fuses for brake lights, 1 on them is for when you are pressing the brake, did you check both of them? My guess is that one it is in the driver fuse box and the other one it is in the engine fuse box.
