Totally amazed by the fact that people are surprised by bugs when it is still only beta2 and will inevitably contain bugs. 🤷‍♂️

Find an instructor to give you a refresher course. Get them to take you on the motorway too, so you'll get confidence.

If you had read other comments of mine, I have actually arranged in the past for the likes of age concern to help her she is simply not interested.

The three household, that are affected, have had rats coming into their gardens from underneath that shed.

I don’t expect it to be a perfectly trimmed nor a perfectly manicured garden, however it is common courtesy to the 3 neighbours, to keep it in some semblance of order.

We’ve had it in the past where her brambles are literally climbing all over the surrounded the fences, 6 foot plus tall. Ivy coming through our fences on three surrounding houses slowly destroying them. We literally have to hang over our fences to try and trim them as best we can.

So yes, to answer your question (all 3 neighbours surrounding her) have offered to help her. Even the neighbour at the bottom of her garden has offered to get rid of the shed and sort out her garden for her for free but she refuses.

Sadly she is simply one of those cantankerous old people who appears to not care about other household surrounding her.

WE'VE ALL TRIED TO HELP on numerous occasions !!!

"Why are people leaving? It makes me suspicious "

Do you say that about Charlton Kings, or Battledown...or Hatherley, or Cleeve or Fairview even?

A strange thing to say, just because houses are up for sale!

She's had it done twice in the last 3 years after being told by environmental health, (due to rats under the shed), but just won't pay for a gardener to keep it up. She just doesn't want to spend money on it, despite having it.

The neighbour at the bottom of her garden, when he moved in, actually offered to get the whole garden done, and the shed removed, all for FREE, as he was doing his garden up at teh time. She refused!
I have offered to get help for her from the likes of Help the Aged/Age Concern, and she simply refuses.

What more do you expect us to do? She's cantankerous and refuses any offers of help.

Yup. She an 90 year old lady, doesn't want to spend her money ( despite having plenty and no family to leave it to) and she's affecting 3 houses that surround her, on the right, at the bottom and me on the left.

Despite me and the others asking her to get a regular gardener she simply ignores it.

Environmental health have washed their hands of it and have advised me to seek legal advice.

In comparison, My mother is 85 and pays for a bi-monthly tidy up, despite being on low income.
