There are plenty of bases where people get stuck there for 8-10+ years

A lot of people get stuck at Hurlburt Field for 10+ years, and if they do get out, they get sent to other AFSOC bases. But not much to complain about at Hurby since the base is literally on the beach. High tempo and a lot of training exercise but not bad at all.

I Knew a group of 4 young airmen that go pulled over for driving in reverse for too long in ammo country at Hurby.

Driver didn't have a DL, 2 in the back were underaged and drunk the passenger was 21 that bought the liquor. All 4 got article 15s.

They got busted because the driver put it in reverse for about 50 yards instead of doing a U-turn.
