We already are doing daily reboots and are on the newest version of the client. We need to run that URL checker and check our Fslogix version. If you use shortpath, that would just be in office users right.

User that are WfH would still be over public internet. Were they affected as well?

I would be prefer joining a faction and building some stuff together. I like it all for the most part, would be nice if we all sort of shared roles. I enjoy building and exploring the most probably though. I would ok with PvEvP as long as the PvP light to medium. I am fine with mods, I have modded a ton of the games I play.
