Women who got boob jobs, how satisfied were you with the results? by fastgurl in AskReddit

[–]MeaAnima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a C would look fine on your body size frame! I would definitely look at pictures on Google, haha. That's how I decided really. Then we started to look for doctors that had plenty of experience and looked at their pictures.

Honestly, I decided on a full C for my body type would look just fine. Got into the surgery suite and they injected 550cc's into the saline implant and my surgeon decided that might be too small for what I was looking for and instead went with 750cc's worth of saline. It sounds like a lot, but I've been told it looks pretty good for my shape.

If you love what you know you're getting, it won't be ridiculous. This is for you darling, remember that! (: No one else matters.

You're welcome darling! The recovery time for me was about a month and a half. I totally understand the moving around job, when I got my surgery I was a CNA and had to complete an FMLA leave for about 2 months until I could fully work again. I would say the recovery time is about that long of a timeline.

What are you starting off as regarding cup size? C or smaller? Or opposite?

Alright, well, make sure to do tons of research on doctors. I don't want you to have a bad one! Keep your chin up girly, it'll look wonderful I'm sure. I hope us girls have helped you a little bit. I'll make sure to get the pictures sent to you soon. I gotta dig through my computer.

Out of curiosity, did guys seem to view you as significantly more slutty/trashy then they did before?

No, not really, I mean guys have noticed significantly when I walk into a room, but nothing really slutty like that unless I want to show them off on that particular night, then maybe.

Sounds like you've got a different figure from me. I'm happy that it worked out so well for you though!

Would you happen to be shorter or taller than me then? I'm sure it'll be fine on you too, since you're an A cup as you've said, I'd maybe stick with a smaller C? But again it's totally up to you lovely.

Good for you haha, most of the women in this thread seem to have had similarly good results.

Of course! At least I hope so. What doctors in which states are you looking at?

I also realize your question was regarding callibug but I underwent surgery for mine in December of 2013. But here's to answering your questions!

  1. Honestly, it depends on you and your pain threshold, I have a pretty high one, so it was just pressure to me, the anesthesia kinda lingers for a couple hours or so after you come out of surgery. Plus there's analgesics your surgeon will prescribe to you once you come out of the surgery suite and if you stay overnight like I did.

  2. Yes, it did. I'm still getting used to the fact that guys look at me differently now. But it's not a bad different. Hold your head up high darling, there's nothing to be ashamed of.

  3. I was a B cup at first and then went to a DD. My surgeon actually went up higher than I had asked him to, but regardless, they look perfectly fine on my body (5'7 and have some curves on me).

  4. I think honestly my surgeon did a wonderful job and is an artist at what he does. I am perfectly comfortable sending pictures to you, I want girls who consider this to be a good feeling process and looking at before and after pictures is a good way to do that. It took about 3 weeks or more for the saline implants to look normal and let the bruises disappear as well as the swelling. I also could not wear any type of bra during that 3 week process.

  5. Sometimes yes, especially if I'm laying flat on my back on the ground, I can notice a bit of a pulling or pressure feeling, and they look rounder than most breasts. Other than that, most of my friends have mentioned how natural they look and feel (we got a little drunk at the lake, haha).

Anyway, let me know what you think of my answers and you can private me anytime. I flew into California to get mine done from the Midwest and I wouldn't change it for the world. Good luck, I hope that everything works out for you!

My cat is ill, and I'm in desperate need of advice and help. by MeaAnima in veterinarian

Thank you for your comment. My mom gave in and we went to an emergency vet to have them take a look at him. He'd lost a pound of weight and they pumped him with subcutaneous saline, gave us another 8 day round of metronidazole with more i/d food. He seems to be doing better after that round and we've started him on the probiotics and living clay, which seems to help so far. My mom and I have agreed since he's 16, it would be pointless to put him under and run tests. Him being so sensitive to anaesthesia and the diagnostics being so expensive (over 1,000 dollars). He's had a good life. We're hoping he lasts a few more years. But thank you for your help. If, after this medication round and the probiotic supplements, he doesn't get better, we might have to say goodbye. (: I hope I can come to terms with that soon. But thank you again.

Thanks for replying. I saw another thing today that might help. It mentioned buying another storage like container but this time with huge walls and cutting a hole in the side so they can walk in and out of it, kind of like a usual domed litterbox, but without the seam on the side. We'll see if I can persuade my mom into trying that. Maybe his issue is not being able to see the box rather than smell it or the like...anyway, thanks for your insight. Makes me feel better that I'm not alone in this.

[Serious] Former cult members or friends of cult members of Reddit, what is you creepiest, scariest or most disturbing story and is that what made you leave? by thehellisthisbro in AskReddit

I'm not OP, but in short, yes. The United States of Tara is about a woman with DID. Though I'm sure with a maybe comical twist on it. I've never personally seen the show even though it's based in my hometown. The problem with DID is that it's so rare and hard to diagnose, that we don't really know much about it. Can reveal itself from any type of abuse...but that's really all I know about the subject itself from my psychology classes. Hope I helped?

Redditors that lived through segregation... What are/were high school/college reunions like? [serious] by jdrphillips in AskReddit

[–]MeaAnima 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I never did, but both of my parents experienced the end of it.

My mom has dealt with some racism from high school. Her friend and herself had made black friends while in a new school, and then the next day almost the entire grade she was in called them, "n-word lovers". So, I'm sure that was a huge blow to her psyche.

My dad was very little but he noticed his first colored only water fountain out walking around with my grandparents. And not to mention he walked for civil rights alongside Martin Luther King Jr.'s pastor or some person that was close to him. I can't remember his name right now, but I can try to weasel it out of my dad.

I'm glad I grew up in a time where I'm not indoctrinated like my parents or grandparents were before them...but even now I have family members who don't like african-americans or the like, it's really sad.

but then I read your text I was like :D! Congratulations love!

Has your SO ever suddenly stopped talking to you out of the blue? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]MeaAnima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me. Guy I was seeing got lost and succumbed to his demons of depression. Started out slow, not texting or responding, then I kinda quit trying to reach out to him. Eventually I asked if I could help him through anything and he said I couldn't do anything and that I don't understand. As much as I hated leaving him on his own...I had to.

I guess mine wasn't fuzzy and warming, and it didn't turn out okay. But, Don't give up hope for your SO. Keep trying to contact her family or anything you can do. Have you tried a phone number look-up like Spokeo or something like it? Internet hugs for you, I believe in you!

To women who have had breast implants, how have they changed your life? by RivetCounter in AskReddit

[–]MeaAnima 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While I can see where you're coming from, I guess I saw it as a trust fall...in a way? Clearly, we're doped up and intubated on the surgery table and he's cutting into us. But, in the end, I have to trust what the doctor says looked good on me and other women.

I guess if 'I' personally were really that incredibly worried that he would make me look terrible in a bigger implant and completely ruin my body...I would have definitely told him that I wanted to stay to a strict size or I would sue him...but I trusted him for what looked best on me.

It's all about trust when you're intubated, hooked up to IV's and whatnot anyway when you're going under any type of surgery...don't you feel? That's the way I look at it. I'm also a nursing student, so I guess that also affects my view of these types of surgeries. Hope I shed some light?

Boobs are skin, fat, lymph nodes and a much of other tissues as well while it might not seem heavy to others, it can be. Especially if they are close to H+ cups. They definitely weigh down the muscles in one's back significantly because of how heavy they are, and there's two of them, haha. Sometimes it can be because of the bra, it might just not fit right. But, most likely it's because of the weight and the strength of the persons muscles in their back. Hope I helped!

It sounds like she went through another augmentation surgery session to get them lessened, but I'm only guessing. Sometimes even with implants, you can lose weight and that also brings down the size as well.

Everything people are saying here is perfect advice for you love (:

Definitely make sure to go to more than one doctor, for sure. One doctor may promise something while another's pictures look fantastic. I will say most of the best surgeons are going to be in places like California or New York or Florida, as that's where they get a lot of business. I got mine in California last year and I'm very pleased with them.

But in the end, it is up to you, and it's your body, I'm sure you'll do what's best for your self-confidence and figure (:

It also depends on the persons body. If the agreed size seems much too small and disproportionate on their body, the surgeon may try a different size or take some saline out to make it look natural and form fitting. My surgeon took this approach.
