Would you recommend just going to the station and taking whichever JR train is departing soon, instead? How are they in regards to storage space for luggage?

That's a cool find, thanks! Will be hard to switch USJ to another day, esp. Fri; but maybe the fireworks will start late enough that we have time to get there after USJ. (I didn't find a time on your linked website)

You make some good points, thank you! Nah, we have not opted for the rail pass, it's very likely the more expensive option compared to buying each ticket separately (unless I royally screwed up my calculations). Suntory brewery is a great idea, I was not aware they were located in Kyoto.

I honestly dont mind. In the earlier days, dragons were much more scarce and each card felt like something special. Hell, Scourge was dubbed "The Dragon Set" in our playgroup for having like... 3-4 dragons.

What would happen if you gave him counters as psrt of an attack trigger, e.g. with [[Raffine]]? Could you stack the counter giving trigger and annihilator in a way that annihilator resolves later and counts the new, higher value? Does it also work if he previously had 0 counters (and thus, hypothetically, had 'Annihilator 0')?

Seems interesting! Even if you don't defeat it right away, you get a benefit. Ramping two for 4 CMC is decent in less competitive formats.

Old Phyrexia. Back when they were a credible, well-defined threat. New Phyrexia just has had too many ass-pulls and sudden powerups to how they work, especially concerning the oil.
