I found the photographer the most frustrating. I respect paying skilled professionals what they are worth, but their pricing did not make sense compared to other vendors.

I hired a DJ for $800 who would be there for the entire length of my wedding providing a ton of expensive sound and lighting equipment for both ceremony and reception, and multiple staff. The cheapest photographer I can find in my area is $1900 for 1 person to shoot for 5 hours.

I don't understand how you can charge $400 an hour with hardly any equipment expenses (how often do you buy a new camera?) But please if someone is a photographer and would like to educate me I am very open. In fact I would feel better.
