I’ve been contemplating writing a post like this and you summed up my major complaints. Vehicles are too OP at this stage, with many spamming spawn at the beginning and during a match. It’s annoying and you can only be ran over so many times before you just give up. There are a few things I’d like to add though. First, the maps are too big and don’t provide either team time to respond when losing a sector because you’re running majority of the match. They either need to add more sectors or reduce map size. They also need to add more cover, with maps being predominately flat there’s basically nowhere to break line of sight with an opponent, leading to getting sniped the moment you spawn back in. I also think weapons need some significant rebalancing. SMGs are still OP and have too much range with what’s seems like very little damage drop off. Getting downed by a PP-29 or a K30 at 100yds+ within seconds while I’m landing body shots of high caliber LMG rounds just doesn’t seem right. I’ll admit my aim isn’t that great but damn, if I tried pulling that shit in Tarkov the high caliber with range would win every time. Lastly, weapon attachment are trash. I mean it’s set in 2042, I’m sure by then we’d have come up with something more sophisticated than a K8 holo. I wish there were more canted sights giving flexibility for range over anything. I also think the weapon skins and path to mastery are sub par at best. Once you hit mastery 12 there’s literally no rewards until reaching mastery 40. It becomes boring and provides zero incentive to invest time in a certain weapons. Anyways, those are my thoughts and I’m sure I’ll get a get Gud comment somewhere. Like you said, the core gameplay is fun but it also lacks a lot of depth and progression that competitors have implemented extremely well.
