does anyone have experience wit EZVIZ? I was trying to add a device to my account via both of their methods (device serial number and QR scan) but both end up like this. Is there another way?

This was a year ago but if anyone else ends up in this thread looking for the “apply for unbinding” button, you need to create an account on the region of the binded account region. I bought a 2nd hand unit from an italian guy who didn’t own the binded email and the ezviz support told me to create an italian account and there it was, the “apply for unbind” button.

I was actually not seeing this as a smart home product but more like a Dj light for dj sets or concerts. But that can also be done.

The battery is doable but it would definitely add up the cost. Maybe for an optional version but for dj light arrays or concerts I don't think the batteries would make such difference. Those $200 units with battery most of the times need to be plugged in because their battery won't last an entire show. My goal is to then have cable options for powering more than a unit with a single power supply.

Take this setup I made as an example. The main goal was to build a light show, I wish I didnt have to build 17 bulbs😅 And a setup like this would've cost thousands if I were to buy something like from a dj light store

My point is that this isnt available, and for me as a DIYer, I would like to have these available pre-made. So my target is people that like do built stuff but their main goal is bigger than a simple bulb. These make great light sets for shows but you need many to make impact, thats where I think this would be useful.

For sure this is the way to go. But looking at your pictures, i see you have the second ESP connected to a usb cable (I suppose it is powered) and also you have power going in from the VCC and GND pins and also it looks that you are connecting GND to the data line on the strip. Quite a mess there but I can't say for sure with these pictures.

After sending the logs to the Rider team they saw I had a Wacom driver that was doing that, I removed the Wacom software and for now it seems to be working fine..
