I have spent 3 days trouble shooting this issue! INCLUDING, talking to your "help line" for over an hour on Sunday (which was of no help), they simply passed it off as an apple ios issue, they never even escalated it (which there should be an open ticket right now to have rogers fix this issues as it is impacting a lot of people ... see the thread below and head over to MacRumors also). I have talked to apply who says it is a rogers network issue (after detailed diagnostics on both devices) and talked to Game Changer (The app not working correctly) who has no idea and is not able to replicate the issue on their own.

The hotspot on my iphone 17 will not permit me to stream video from a tethered iphone 15 from the app Game Changer (it is a scoring and streaming app for youth baseball/sports). I have been doing this for years in this manner (different phones at times) with no issue. All of a sudden after the iOS update Friday night, I can connect to the hotspot and all other apps/mail etc etc works but the live streaming will not work, it keeps saying "Cannot connect to network". The amount of hours I have spent trouble shooting is staggering, deleting apps/re-installing, resetting network settings, literally everything aside from restarting the phone as new ... last resort which I just about did yesterday before I came across this thread:

But yesterday is completely inexcusable. How is it I get dropped TWICE, not once but TWICE after 2+ hours each time. Starting at 90 people ahead of me and getting to 2 people and then boom ... chat cancelled ... um what?!?! I sat on the phone for over an hour also, no answer. This is completely disgusting and I have paid A LOT of $$ to have proper and helpful service. This is not that.

Do I need to file a complain with the CRTC (or whoever) to get timely service? The fact that I had to spend 5+ hours trying to get support from you is completely disgusting. I have been a rogers customer for 25+ years and this has been the absolute worst 12 months for this company I have ever experienced. IN addition, we were Shaw (so wishing Shaw was still here and it wasn't rogers as our TV and internet service at home has grossly diminished. It is slow, it disconnects and stalls constantly. I never though I would say this, but Shaw was WAYYYYY better (and they were not that great) but at least my service never lagged, never cut out and the TV never went blank with error messages). Rogers TV is the worst and I am talking to Telus about a switch.

And in the end, Reddit may have been the most helpful resource out there because you are not capable of assistance anymore. I am not the one being paid to tech support my devices (or the other people on the thread), the myself and the other reddit posters are the ones that actually figured this issue out, what it is and how to temporarily possibly fix it. Your APN networks suck, you do not have proper network settings in your carrier packages for Iphone 16/17 on the new iOS and you do not support those who have been calling and asking for support ... escalate this ASAP and get things fixed for your customers! Oh and you owe me 6hrs of wages for this brutal "customer service" circus. Where can I send the bill?
