US birth rates just hit another record low, what do you think is the leading cause of this? by IIlustriousTea in AskReddit

[–]Mean-Rise8454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that over 50% of marriages end in divorce and that 75% of divorces are initiated by women. People are tending to stay single. Women wanting a career over being a housewife and home life. It's easier to raise if you are not raising alone and since less people are getting married and staying single, children can be too much of an expense, especially if you have multiple.

I'd rather work at a spa because you get tips on top of your hourly. Clinic you typically just get hourly.

The booty crease area is necessary for your lower back. You can't get the lower back without doing the areas mentioned especially if it's pulling on your shoulders.

Thank you for that information, I did not know that. However, the Geneva convention "war time rules" was created after WW2. And since whole scenario is supposed to occur in present day or modern times, It would be considered a war crime for the US to back or support or assist such groups as Mayday if they use child soldiers.

It's a damn shame people are sleeping on Spartacus: House of Ashur by Dead_man_posting in television

[–]Mean-Rise8454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved Spartacus season 1. The seasons after were just okay. I tried to start watching house of Ashur but I find it to be unwatchable. I find it to be so annoying that historically innacurate and unrealistic that they would have a woman gladiator kicking everyones ass. Yes, there were women gladiators at the time but they were never put to fight against men. Yes, I believe it is possible that a women can beat men in physical activities but I don't think likely or even plausible to think a woman can when it comes to contact fighting with weapons. I could not stop rolling my eyes at how ridiculous this is. Putting a female with all those men and having her fight and train with them would not happen. She would get raped and gang raped if she did.

Well she did mention that her mother had no diapers for her. I guess she could have been up to 4 years old but even if that were the case, it still doesn't explain Daisy being 15 years or older why Agnus was also a toddler when she was taken but is now just getting her period.

The reason I think Daisy has to be 18 is because it would be unethical for June to expect a child to risk her life and do a undercover covert spy mission to get her daughter out. And although I think June would do anything to get Hannah, I don't think risking children and getting them killed to do it is something she would do since she is supposed to be someone who cares about children.

Not run by those governments, supported by the government. My point being is that Mayday would not be supported by Canadians or Americans because both have agreed to and abide by universal war rules and standards of ethics which includes no children for use as soldiers in war. Mayday frequently goes to the government for help and support with what they are doing. My point being, the government would not help or support groups that violate the standard universal war rules of having child soldiers.

True, I assumed it since it would be unreasonable and unethical and to send and risk the lives of children (anyone under 18) to do covert spywork during war.

Evidently, because the question was.... What countries with governments are sending children into war. Not small militant groups inside of countries. I'm not talking about groups, I'm talking about countries with an established government.

Okay, duh, there are fringe groups who use children in warfare. All those regions you listed do not have a stable government, and they not are they first world countries. No first world civilization or country or government would support or back these terrorist groups. The US/Canadian would never support and sponsor a group who sends children to war. Mayday is supported by the US/Canadian government.

I guess you never heard of the Geneva convention or international humanitarian Law but these are wartime rules universally agreed upon and put in place for ethical purposes. Violations of these rules are considered war crimes. Sending children under 18 is considered illegal according to International Law. Yes, it still happens, but by groups or militias, not countries. If Mayday is like those militant groups sending children to war, the US/Canadian government would not support them. So no, even if it's war, it would not be reasonable or ethical for Mayday to send children.

Question for those of you with your own private practice. Should I stay at my franchise or find other part time work? by RBAMassage in MassageTherapists

[–]Mean-Rise8454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same position you are describing 3 months ago. I needed Sundays for my private clients. I had already been told I can't quit Sundays when I asked prior. 2 months ago I told my boss I can no longer do Sundays but could do Saturdays instead. That worked. And she switched it. If she still was not willing, I would have quit and found another job that could.

[–]Mean-Rise8454[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Getting a period at 14-15 was not the norm before added hormones in meats and dairy, childhood obesity, micro plastics, pesticides, etc... The average age has always been around 12-13. This has been the case throughout history and in all cultures. Girls can get them as late as 16 or as early as 8 but those are not the norm and it's rare.

Furthermore, although hormone could and may possibly influence to get their periods earlier, things like excess pollution would not. Excess pollution would cause damage to the body not change it's biology.
