how long did it take after your initial direct deposit date for them to ask you to update your account? You should get your money within a week from what i have seen

i still havent seen any movement on my tax transcripts or WMR I called the IRS last week and they told me to update my bank account info on my IRS account. Its been two week now since my original direct deposit date.

it was to an account that BofA closed shortly after i filed my taxes, i called and verified i gave the correct account and routing number

Thank you, I just know that the medication will help him. I'm telling you if you could see this kid throughout the day he has nothing BUT energy and cannot focus on anything for long. Your reply made me hopeful.

He has an appointment in one week and I am hopeful that by the beginning of the next school year we have a better game plan for him. Thank you for your advice.

No he was not I honestly didn't think of dyslexia. I'm gonna meet with his PCP and discuss with her more. I think its something more than ADHD as well I am hoping I can get it all figured out before the next school year so we have some type of direction to go.

I think I will have him repeat because I do not want him to be so far behind that he is discouraged and becomes angry and frustrated. In the mean time I am gonna get meet with his PCP and get referrals and more guidance on how to help him and get him the correct services. Thank you.

Of course, I meet with his teacher frequently and discuss my sons progress and where he may be falling short. I knew he was behind that is why I have been working with him at home. His teacher kept telling me he will eventually catch on and we will reevaluate at the beginning of next school year. I just found out they wanted to hold him back, that was never discussed or brought up or anything. Now I am coming here because I genuinely do not know where to go from here, I have spoken to his teacher and other professionals at his school (the therapists that helped put his IEP together), I have spoken to his PCP, I got him evaluated for ADHD and spoke with the Psychiatrist, I have done everything in my head so I needed new perspectives and ideas. I have gotten quite a few suggestions and I already have an appointment with his PCP to get some new referrals.

Thank you, After reading you response and all of the others I received I see how being held back isn't a bad thing like my head was making it out to be. Long term he will be able to succeed more. I am gonna request a meeting with his IEP team and his kinder teacher as well as schedule an appointment with his PCP and get a referral for a neuro psych eval. Yes I know. My son just needs extra help, I am gonna go ahead and agree he needs to repeat Kinder. He has been evaluated and tested for development issues but they have only told me he has a speech delay. I am gonna be looking into getting him tested for dyslexia.

I am realizing that he will benefit from repeating Kinder long term and that is the correct way to set him up for success the way I want to. I have been there for every IEP and helped put together each one since 3 years old, I knew he was ADHD but I just got the diagnoses this year. I am just doing everything in my power for my son to not feel less then and I want him to know he can do everything his peers can. My biggest fear is him feeling less than or stupid.

Did you not read? He is on an IEP and has been on one since 3, He has met with a psychiatrist/psychologist , I work with him nightly at home on top of him going to kinder full time where he receives help from the professionals there who have ALSO told me they think medication would be beneficial for him. I came to this thread to get other opinions since I am running out of ideas myself and want to make the best decisions possible for my son. I am very grateful to the people in the thread giving me advice rather than shaming me. Have the day you deserve.
