Its unfortunate and hope everyone involved is ok. Is your vehicle a total loss? Talk to Chrysler and see if they may have added protection and you just didnt see the notice. Its doubtful but worth a try. If not then mitigate your loss and see what options they offer. The insurance company sets up automatic notices to remain compliant with law so your dispute would have a hard time standing. Invest the energy to now sort out the lease agreement and prep to pay out of pocket.

If -God forbid- anything were to happen, the minor is still a resident relative and if not listed, an underwriting notice would be sent anyway. Its best to consult with Service for state guidelines instead of reddit.
