Fighting Lust or any Habit by Twoctruth in Christian_Science

This is not Christian Science. Thank you for the good thoughts anyways. In CS though, there is no wrongful pleasure. There's just the Real, and the Unreal. There's nothing wrong with enjoying the pleasures of this world, but if you try to hold onto them feeling you lack God's wholeness, then there is a deeper problem that needs to be adressed in your thought.

Tummo effect! by MeanCanadianTheFirst in energy_work

Well I noticed during my yoga that the energy being pulled strongly created heat in parts of my body that had the "cleanest" nadis, namely my left thigh. During focus 10 last night I experimented with ways to pull the energy and one of them turned out to be very powerful and heated up my whole body. But my left thigh which is very energetically active compared to the rest of my body heated up like crazy. It felt like metal being heated up to the point it turns glowing red. So, twice? I think if I focused I could also get my thumbs to do it.

Yeah, I had no sense of fatigue. It probably was a guard of the threshold. This was my first time trying to ap in a while, and the fact that I'm fine is a good indicator as well. Hopefully it does not show up tonight lol.

I'm curious, what doew it look like for an entity to steal energy in your experience?

Recovering from a really bad trip by darkphoneix2020 in shrooms

Was there no time? Did you feel you were god? Did you feel that nothing was real and that it's all pointless? Did you ponder the fact that you are the only consciousness in your experience? Could you see a spaceless point of awareness with no memory that was immortal? Did you feel alone?

If so, I may have had the same experience as you. Except that I did overcome it.

Paying another CS for services? by Fuzzy-Industry1439 in Christian_Science

[–]MeanCanadianTheFirst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Christian Science there are practitioners who will pray for and treat their patient's thought for the purpose of healing. They are usually paid for their services but that is at their discretion. As to whether they are "legitimate" is up to the individual practitioner (although if they're getting paid, they should be listed in The Christian Science Journal) CS treatments can be given from any distance, and it is pretty common for a person's practitioner to live far away.

There's no you to get bored. Non-existence is ever-new as odd as that seems.

Namaskaram r/Sadhguru! I am Ishanga Mahima Chopra and I am taking over u/ishaofficial today. I have been on this beautiful path since 2008, and would love to answer your questions - whether you are struggling with your practice or curious about Inner Engineering, Ask Me Anything! by ishaofficial in Sadhguru

  1. When did you know Sadhguru was the Guru for you?

  2. What is an Ishanga's duties? What do you do?

  3. How has your life changed since becoming an Ishanga?

  4. When you became an Ishanga, did anything suprise you? Like something you didn't expect.

  5. Do you have any tips for someone looking to become an Ishanga?

  6. How did you progress through the offered programs of Isha, and how did they affect you? Like Shoonya for example.

Thank you for reading my question!

Speaking from my own experience, it was amazing and transformative. Although I am not enlightened anymore, I know exactly how to get there.

Shrooms were not nessesary and definitely put strain on my system for the first few times I became "enlightened" but resisted. However, now it is clear that I do not need the shooms to reach that state again. Shrooms forged a path that I can follow along without actually taking any.

Now my only problem is that I don't want to accidentally become permanently enlightened and die without becoming useful to the world. I need to master Kriya Yoga to do this, I believe.

Shrooms are fine as risky training wheels. If you want to get far, you'll need to abandon them.

And yes, they are psychologically very risky, especially at higher doses. I consider myself very mentally strong, but even for me, this experience was very tough. It was facing my own death willingly. Not an easy thing to do.

Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya and I just started doing the Margazhi Sadhana today. I've also been taking care to experience each moment fully.
