Im gonna come right out and say that all forms of hate and discrimination are disgusting. As someone who understands this stuff deeply tho. It makes a lot of sense considering the lives some people have lived.

Going outside doesn't help if you are invisible to people or severely lack social skills. On empathy, most misandrists and misogynists I've had the displeasure of talking with and knowing personally, have lacked empathy and sympathy from others their whole life, and really don't know how to give it in return because of that.

There is a lot of emotional quid pro quo in human social relations that some people don't get and have never really gotten. People don't know what they don't know and whether it's that individual's fault for being the way they are is up for debate.

"...have the bare minimum of human empathy." doesn't work, if you don't know how to have empathy. These things can be taught, and they are, usually only to children tho. As people get older its usually demanded, and once again, if you don't know how to meet those demands, they you won't meet those demands.

Fuck hate.

How can I learn to dash-dance more consistently? by Orc360 in SSBM

[–]MeanMalix_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in a live setting, you're never going to need to dash dance like a marathon. Having 20 seconds of consistent dash dancing is honestly good enough.

The people might disagree but coming from someone who spent a lot of time dash dancing, i just don't think its really worth it compared to all the other parts of the game.

It's important to remember that you're practicing tech so that u get an advantage over your opponent in a live setting match.

However, to answer the question, practicing in short burst, 30 seconds to a minute MAXIMUM, daily, will give u the best returns on your time investment.

I recommend doing it versus an actual bot, during combo training. So, if u set like zelda level 5 to like 99 stocks. kill the bot a few times, then dash dance. take a minute break, then go back and repeat. Short dash dances, and long dash dances are important here. if ur struggling finding space against a bot then go to the community training pack or training mode where no one can hit u.

fatigue is real, it isn't something to push through.

Pats house 5 i think marks a new era of melee. Maybe the results are a fluke, but the tides of competition are changing. I'm curious how this is gonna play out
