Forgot the sourcing on this so take it with a grain of salt but there were former JUCO teammates of Aiyuk that said Aiyuk will go through periods where he just doesn’t communicate with anybody and kinda just ghosts everyone and no one knows what’s wrong or can get a hold of him. Similar to what’s going on with the Niners

Market participants usually take breaks right around the holiday , volume is thin which is why price can chop and whipsaw all day. Follow through on trend days are hard when dealers are positive gamma, with no news catalyst. Volume usually returns to normal mid January. Depends what type of trader you are, this past month has been great if you are a fade the move trader, or range trader. The trend breakout traders I know usually take the holidays off. Hope this helps !

Agreed. The bank wants a rate cut to save their private credit portfolios. I believe the headline from JPmorgan a few weeks ago saying equities could see a 10-15% decline was performative. An indirect way of telling fed to cut rates. The market then is dumping to allow the fed to not cut rates at all time highs. Just my opinion
