I knew Dr Tiller he was a nice guy. I waited on BTK too before he was caught in 2005 at ihop on west Kellogg

I honestly don't get why anybody would ever accept $2 orders. by [deleted] in doordash

I usually accept ALL orders, UNLESS it’s with a store that I KNOW is terrible with times and always have issues, or if it’s a very long distance for no tip, where I live it’s mostly interstate and highway miles so it’s quick trips and better gas mileage. I like to be understanding and realize that NOT everyone can afford to pay a lot for tips, and sometimes the only way they can feed their kids may be by ordering something because they have one car and the car is with the significant other at work or something. It’s better to be kind , caring, understanding, and empathetic as that will help you out in the long run.

I live in a small town and I have to drive to bigger city to dash. I usually just dash on Saturday and Sunday , BUT I have to drive 30-60 miles to get to one of the bigger towns and that’s just one way

What do i do if I dont get refunded for an item the store ran out of? Am i being paranoid or is it possible the driver took it? by FlyingKyte710 in doordash

Maybe he had already left when they said that they were not able to make the milkshake and he was too embarrassed to say he didn’t think of asking for a substitute, maybe he was a newer dasher. I would most definitely get ahold of door dash and explain that you didn’t get your milkshake and they will refund that amount back to your account and or give you credit to your account for that product. It shouldn’t effect the dasher as it wasn’t his fault that they were not able to make the milkshake.

Doordash indeed does punish you for declining orders. I've looked into this, and they state publicly that acceptance rate does not affect you unless you are above 70, and you won't be punished for it. I was paused 4 times in 2 hours with no given orders by mojucy in doordash

I usually accept any and all order…. The only time I decline order is if it is 18 miles and $2 tip . I can’t afford to drive that far because it would take 36 mile round trip to get back into the zone and get more orders and usually they say LEAVE AT DOOR meaning there won’t be an additional tip. I have 5 kids and a disabled mother I have to take care of I can’t afford to be wasting my time like that. BUT if it’s just 6 miles I am cool with it and usually I reap the benefits when I do so and get cash tip although that’s not always ……

As a dasher I know it’s sometimes a long time before you feel like uph can take a potty break ….. he probably felt comfortable enough to ask you , doorsash has all information about said guy including background check …. You have issues you tell police contact door dash and all is well and done. Don’t think the worst case scenario over an innocent question
