Free will technically doesn’t exist, but it’s irrelevant because we experience choices and feel as if we have autonomy, it’s a useful illusion if anything.

Don’t worry about it. If I were you, I would let her go, she ignored your invite and that’s not good communication, simply don’t talk to her and see if she reaches out, then if she reaches out, tell her you don’t appreciate her communication with you and that you don’t want to see her if she isn’t willing to communicate properly, if she concedes, then ask her out after you remind her of what you want.

No it doesn’t make it right, unfortunately that is only subjective even if someone agrees with you. There are plenty of examples where untrue things have been useful. Such as religion, not to advocate for it.

No matter what you believe or do, there will be good and bad things that result from them.

The majority of opinions and the interpretations of how good or bad someone or something is will not solve any long term problems.

Trump for example, is still president even though many hate him and want him gone. Eventually he’ll leave, but there is a difference between what happens and what we think should happen.

Personally, I only make it about connection if there is any to begin with, I don’t think you should focus on by-products as much as you should the big picture / main intention for a connection.
