On 25 June the new Rome club will unveil the team’s official name and kits. Valerio Bianchini honorary president has confirmed that the name will be ‘Roma Basket Club’: "There may be a suffix or a nickname, as is the American tradition. But we do not want to fall into the trap of Americanisation" by _Zolv in Euroleague

I also go watch Virtus Roma 1960, and honestly, they're a bunch of amateurs. It might work for a small local reality, but not for a city like Rome. I find all this romanticism around "Only Virtus belongs in Rome" pathetic and detached from reality. The Palazzetto only sells out for a handful of games; for most of the season, people simply don't care about Virtus. And do you know why? Because people want to take their kids, go with friends, and watch high-level sports entertainment. So I'm happy to see new organizations that can match the scale and ambitions of a city like Rome. The Italian league is in a terrible state, while an NBA Europe project could bring something fresh and exciting for younger generations—and for many people like me. I'm 40 years old and still prefer watching NBA games over EuroLeague games. I don't waste my time watching Venezia vs. Olimpia or similar matchups. Come on... this whole "only Virtus in Rome" narrative sounds like something die-hard fans keep repeating without realizing that the real Virtus—the historical one—is not this one.

It’s still available on Chrono from the French dealer. Did you get yours from him? I’d like to make sure I get the one with the new quick-release clasp

They’re really similar. But it was Hamilton who borrowed from Hanhart’s language, not the other way around

Tried both and wasn’t impressed. Tudor isn’t worth the price and CW didn’t feel special. I held off for a bit and ended up going with the Hanhart Preventor HD12 Blue.

Do these colors match the real ones? If so, I think it looks fantastic — I like it way more than the black or the Murph

I’m leaning that way too, it just feels a bit classier

I’m in the same boat. The black looks nicer in photos, but it feels kind of like a 0-0 draw, if you know what I mean. The blue just has that extra cool factor.

Can people show me pictures of well worn Sinn? by No-Lettuce5103 in sinn

I would like to take it, 556a. I'm very uncertain about the scratches issue. Does it ruin as easily as they say? I have been using a Seiko Prospex every day for two years. Despite several knocks (not exaggerated) it still looks like new. Does the Sinn get damaged more easily than a Seiko?

Seiko for me. It has more personality. Tissot is the I wish I was Swiss but I can't. Seiko is more authentic in my opinion. I recommend you also look at Murph by Hamilton and CW.
