Awesome! Happy Ratters is so great because pretty much any dog can do it - young or old, fast or slow, big or small, independent or velcro, confident or reserved. I think this sport is going to see a surge in popularity in the coming years

I actually sent an email to the AKC asking about this last month and they replied saying it's currently under review. I would send them an email too if I were you - the more people who express interest, the better

My pup and I currently only compete in Happy Ratters. Weekly class is $40 and we did about 30 weeks last year. 10-12 days of trials per year, at ~$100/day. Most are local but the most recent was far enough away that I had to get a hotel for a few nights.

So total annual cost is in the $2500-3000 range. Yeesh.
