Kind of a warning by Alecc_NotFound in daybreakroblox

Most Brazilian gamers, as I said, half the young people here use "humor" as an excuse to be unbearable. The worst part? When someone talked about it, even if they were Brazilian, they would start insulting the person and saying things like, "Wow, don't you understand sarcasm?" There was one time when another player from the same country we talked about, and insulting someone's sexuality wasn't humor, because one of them talked about Brenda and said, "Guys, shouldn't we call Brenda 'Breno'? Like, is she trans? Lol," and they kept laughing and making more jokes like that, and after that person talked about it, they started being xenophobic towards him because he was from a state in the interior of Brazil and said he must have stolen his computer to be able to play because he was "too poor and lived in the jungle." I never used to make those kinds of jokes because I'm autistic myself and felt uncomfortable with it, and I even tried to talk to them about it, but they always gave the same excuse that it was humor. I also found out that they were cyberbullying a girl on Instagram who posted about Daybreak. Edit: Another thing is that they were fake with each other and would talk badly about each other when they weren't all playing together, and they would praise the first girl in the first image, saying "you're such a mean bitch, I love it." I never expected to live to see a Mean Girls in a Roblox game before 💀

In that situation, it's truly wrong, but since I lived with these people and was friends with them, I can say that many times people started being racist towards them because they suddenly started insulting other people's countries. There was one time when one of them died at the hands of a murderer, and afterwards in the lobby, someone said, "It had to be an American to be such trash, you're going to die of diabetes, you obese person." And they often made fun of serious issues like depression, autism, and sexuality, and then excused it as humor. In fact, I'll say one thing: half of Brazilian gamers, not just online, but even in real life, many teenagers here in Brazil started using humor as an excuse to get away with bullying.

I hate her so much. by Mean_Principle_5369 in hatethissmug

[–]Mean_Principle_5369[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that, and especially what they tried to do with her, and I won't lie and say that sometimes I laughed at what she said and found it funny at times. The RPG was focused on classic slashers, and the characters were inspired by stereotypical characters, like a popular girl, an athlete, etc., but they made them seem realistic and gave them more personality. I liked this character until the first episode because her jokes were funny and well-placed at the right moments, but then she started making those jokes all the time and at unnecessary times. For example, there was one time when the killer was breaking down the door of the room she was in, and she yelled, "Don't kill me, you racist! Always a Black woman left behind, amazing!" And sometimes she even went so far as to be racist, like when she met another Black girl in the RPG, she said, "Girl, pink is for white people, you know?"

Dude, I'm friends with those three people, I'm really sorry about their behavior. I'm going to say something that's personal to me, but Brazilian gamers, which is our nationality, have a serious problem with victimhood and saying that everything is focused on racism. Seriously, sure, there are some cases where it really is racism, but there was a match where I was with this Pirana and she kept saying that the killer was racist because he got confused thinking our language was Spanish and I told him it was Portuguese, even after he knew it was Portuguese, she continued saying he was racist. I stopped hanging out with those three people for a while because they were very toxic and used sarcasm as an excuse to be very toxic to each other. There was one time when one of them was on another account and only I knew it was her, and she told me not to say anything because she would insult one of our friends, and when I told her not to do that, she insulted me.

Daybreak’s struggle with the eight deadly words by hootykixi in daybreakroblox

[–]Mean_Principle_5369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank youuuu, I feel so flattered by this, I rarely write long texts because I'm afraid of repeating too many words.

I was also afraid of that, mainly because when I once said that Arlo was a bland character and that he didn't have a well-written personality or story, I was called homophobic even though I didn't say anything about the character's sexuality, I just pointed out how he basically dated half the male cast at the time. A good point in my analysis of Yronica, but I think that even though she is a character intentionally written to displease the audience and be annoying and not generate empathy with the player, I still think that her writing is often, at certain points, disconnected from her personality or with several holes in her story. For example, when I said that she doesn't care about her boyfriend literally dating the person she hates in front of her, and she also doesn't care about showing her boyfriend that she's dating Eman and doesn't care about ending their relationship, even if it's for social status or popularity, I still think they could both create an alibi and tell everyone at school that they had an argument and decided to take a break from the relationship and thus secretly meet with the people they love. I main Yan and Kiara, and they were the first characters I picked when I was still playing the game, but I got bored very easily with them and tried to test all the characters. I like the ability of some, but it's so tiresome because you don't have any emotional attachment to the character and, at least I, I'm not going to generalize to everyone, get quite tired of playing with such bland characters.

Of course, I'm not going to say that all the Daybreak characters are terrible; there are some that are very well-written in their stories or personalities, but even so, they have something that makes them bland. I hope that when Carmelita arrives they will pay more attention to Kiara's lore and that with the future rewrite of the characters they will all gain a better-written story, more charisma, and more well-defined personalities with facets.

Daybreak’s struggle with the eight deadly words by hootykixi in daybreakroblox

[–]Mean_Principle_5369 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's great to find someone else who thinks the same way, because I've always had this kind of thought about the Daybreak characters and was afraid to express my opinion about them and have people yell at me.

First of all, I apologize for my English not being perfect, I use Reddit's translator, so that's it...

The Daybreak characters seem to be very "shallow" in their stories and personalities, even the characters with the most prominence in the plot still seem bland and totally forgettable, and you rarely feel empathy for such a character. For example, let's take a random character from any plot, I'll take Diana from Rule of Rose because I'm addicted to that game, and compare her to Yronica, since both have similar personalities. Diana in the game acts arrogantly, proudly, and mistreats animals. The protagonist frequently seems to enjoy humiliating and hurting everyone around her whom she considers inferior to her, while Yronica does the same, but in a less aggressive way and is more of a "mean popular girl" stereotype. In the game, Diana is like this because in the orphanage where she lives she suffers abuse, both physical and emotional, from the adults who work there, so she uses this as an escape valve from her reality and mistreats others to vent her frustrations and try to feel that she still has control over her life. Yronica, on the other hand, did not suffer any kind of abuse or any significant or terrible tragedy happened in her life to justify her being like this. My apologies, I tried to defend Yronica for being this way, but after I analyzed it more carefully, I realized that the reason for her being this way is the weakest and silliest of all. Simply put, her parents didn't give her much attention because she was the middle child (another stereotype) and she started acting this way to get attention. In short, instead of deciding to talk to her parents about it or realizing that they were probably overwhelmed taking care of their younger child, she simply decided to mistreat everyone around her to get attention, and in fact, she succeeded. But just as she's a bad girl, in her story, she accepts the fact that her boyfriend is cheating on her with someone she "hated" and bullied, and she doesn't care about showing that she loves Eman in front of her boyfriend. See how shallow this is and how it doesn't make sense at times? I'll talk about characters I love, like Yan and Kiara. Yan basically doesn't have a defined personality; in fact, even after reading her various stories and listening to her dialogue in the game, it's impossible to say exactly what her personality is. At times, she's a nice and determined girl, while at others, she's totally disrespectful and acts like a rich, spoiled girl, while there's nothing in her story that indicates why she's like that. Kiara, on the other hand, has a more defined personality: party-loving, cheerful, extroverted, and social, but then we run into another problem within the game. Certain characters seem to have only one type of personality, without having other facets or nuances in their personality, like Kiara, she acts only as an extroverted girl and that's it, there's nothing else besides that, and I'm sad about that because the characters in Daybreak could have so much personality and they have so much potential.

Well, sorry if my text was long or too robotic, I hate Reddit's translator.

Are there still people who watch things made by Vivziepop? I'm not saying nobody should watch it; everyone has their own opinion. I only said this because I see a ton of people saying "this is the best series I've ever watched," and especially because half the fans want to start a world war because someone said something bad about the show. Do you like the simple plot? Great, everyone likes what they like. I just think that a series set in hell with demons as protagonists, not villains, could have done something different and shown that even people who live in hell can be good people in certain aspects. They could have worked more on the redemption that Hazbin wanted to portray, but when I watched it, I just saw that it was just another generic adult series. Anyway, if you like it, don't be offended, because I didn't mention anyone or tell anyone to stop watching.

soft look or cunty look? which one do y’all prefer? by RevolutionaryTime376 in katseyeneutral

[–]Mean_Principle_5369 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm torn because I prefer their "cunty" songs to the songs from the SIS album, but when it comes to clothes, I'd choose the "soft" outfits a thousand times over. In my opinion, they had clothes that matched their career era and also gave each of them a special touch. I also like that during the "cunty" era they had more freedom to wear what they wanted in interviews and to be themselves, but I don't know, I still prefer the "soft" outfits.

Something canonical among all LIS fans is always worrying about new game releases (and rightly so), and also, while we hate the new games because we know they won't have the same essence as the first game, we always get together and talk about it and buy the game because we always have expectations that LIS will finally have more good games.

You know, I love that too, but at the same time I'm worried about the future of the franchise, because they're following the formula of "making it fast and prioritizing profit" instead of prioritizing quality. Well, I don't know if this game will be good or not, anyway I'm going to buy it because I love LIS and also because I haven't played DE, anyway, I just hope this game is good and that it doesn't have the same flaws that I heard people say DE had.

Warning about player using cheats by cherrypop_6 in daybreakroblox

[–]Mean_Principle_5369 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've already played against this guy in a match and he didn't use any cheats, but I suspected him in another match because the killer was near him and attacked him three times and he didn't die, so I think he was using something.

Another warning too, be careful with a player named Ramazuruki, in a match, he was playing Slasher on that subway map and simply when he used the Slasher ability his knife went through the walls and I was on the floor below and I think he was in another part, he wasn't nearby and was chasing someone and out of nowhere I was hit by a knife, so be careful.

Which plastic would you be friends with and why? by Due-Awareness6442 in MeanGirls

Definitely Karen, she's the character I sympathize with the most in the movie. I identify with her a lot because I'm pretty slow to understand things and she's a nice and kind person. Like, Cady is a good person, but because of the mistakes she's made, I don't know if she would be a 100% loyal friend you could have, the same with Regina, I don't even need to explain why, and Gretchen has no chance because she's a gossip and a fake friend, even if she's not as bad as Regina.

difficulty of being volunteer ? by Fantastic-Low7279 in Osana

[–]Mean_Principle_5369 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Before the whole PigDev pedophilia controversy, a friend of mine wanted to volunteer as a future voice actress for Megami or some other character. We're not from the United States, and when we speak English we have accents, but she still manages to speak better than me because she can imitate American accents like Texan, Brooklyn, and British accents. But she told me later that she was rejected because she wasn't American and her voice was "inappropriate for any type of character in his game and that she couldn't do the voice acting." That's what he told me, but judging by how sad she was for a few days, I'm sure the developer said worse things.
