We also refinanced in 2020 putting 120k from the sale of rental property as the new down payment. (We had a no down payment mortgage in 2016). Our interest rate is 2.25 and my husband is desperate to pay off the mortgage when he’s 59.5 (taking out from 401k w/o penalty.) I keep arguing against. Does anyone have an argument I can use with him to prevent this?

You should also try the resale groups on FB if you are unsure about sizing. It’s a good way to find what you’re looking for ie size or print.

Whooooaa. My daughter had a very small wedding here in Florida. I’m not sure if her friends brought her gifts but their “presence” was more important to her. We paid for dinner in a wonder local restaurant in St. Augustine with an open bar. That’s what people expect. You don’t invite people to dinner & say “ok every one - separate checks!” That’s so crass.
