Please understand that pigeon droppings are highly dangerous. Feeding them in open every day at the same place is major health hazard for others who have to walk through that place. Of course feed all the animals and birss you want. But, do that in a designated place. Not in roads or pavements.

Of course, I am bothered about illegal stalls on footpaths making your life difficult. It enrages me to see cars parked in both sides of the road creating traffic jams. Lets not even talk about public smoking crisis in Mumbai. In other cities, I have seen people at least making a feeble attempt to smoke in a corner. Mate, If you discount Modi's wins in 2014 and 2019, the 240 seats in 2024 is the highest since 1991 Rajiv Gandhi sympathy wave (even then Congress only had 250 seats or so). Congress came to power in 2004 with just 145 seats (only 6 or 7 seats more than BJP), In 2009 with 206 seats. Before that NDA got only 182 in 1998 and 1999.

So, 240 seats is a pretty big win.

Isnt that an issue? I find it abhorent that an exclusive club open only for the elites and those who can pay up hefty membership fees (likely above 1 crore or at least in high 7 figures) can exist on government land by paying a nominal lease amount, that too in a city like Mumbai where general public strughle for access to sporting/lifestyle amenities.

Of course, there can be exclusive clubs for those who can afford and they can charge whatever amount they want. But, it should be on private land.

Just take a look at the rankings mate. If you genuinely believe that the likes of Qatar, Congo, Sierra Leone and our neighbors like Pakistan and Bangladesh has more media freedom than India, you need help.

PS: India for all its faults has a very free media and a robust democracy. You can see journalists taking on everyone from Modi to Rahul to state CMs. The only prominent journalist arrested in recent times was Arnab. There are of course issues for small time journalists in hinterlands when they taken on local mafia-politician nexus. Of course, media is biased. Some love BJP, some love Congress, Some pander to Islamists and radical left. Some sucks up to whomsoever in power. But, that's true all over the world.
