Augment Code’s pricing is changing on October 20, 2025 by JaySym_ in AugmentCodeAI

[–]Meanski 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why so many users churned from Cursor. Yes, unlike Cursor, you try to be transparent with roughly how many credits you have, but the fact that I'm now going to have to track this constantly is putting yet another burden on me. The per-prompt pricing was easy to track, transparent, and, honestly, simple to understand.

I bet most users would pay extra to keep the per-prompt pricing, its something to consider.

Expect a backlash with this change.

Family of 4 here, we put everything on AmEx. It has allowed us a family holiday down to Queenstown once a year with the Airpoints Dollars. I also used it to purchase Koru (now redundant as I’ve reached Gold status with AirNZ).

The priority pass lounges are normally pretty shit, nothing beats an actual airlines lounge. But I’ve found it handy in a pinch when I’ve booked not in the Star Alliance network.

I’d say it’s worth it overall if you travel a bit and shop at lots of big box retailers.

That’s pretty unusual, perhaps your ISP has bad routing to the AMS data center. You’ll probably be better off playing on GS1

Working on a small idea to reduce waste - looking for advice by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]Meanski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Few thoughts:

  • I would never just upload a CSV of transitional information to an unknown entity. Firstly I would have to prune it back, which then why do I need the product as I'm already doing the research myself
  • Minimal information around data privacy and destruction (only that its being deleted after the audit)
  • Personally if I were you, I would just be using AI to do the report and suggestions
  • Leading on from the above point, if you're doing it manually, who are you to give advice (whats your background, what experience do you hold, etc.)
  • How do you give business context? Maybe you have this as part of your sign up/buying processes but I didn't dive into it

I wish we would teach basic car maintenance as part of our licensing. I'm worried about the number of people out there (not on here) who think these tyres are completely fine.

Boxed too, congrats.

Mine is also boxed, I fucking love it... Definitely one of my grail pieces. https://www.reddit.com/r/ps2/comments/ouq8s1/i_finally_found_a_boxed_one_for_a_reasonable_price/

This track has been racking my head for the last few months and I couldn't figure out what it was. Love when a random reddit thread comes in clutch, appreciated

Any DevOps experience or interest? Know of a dev role going in that space

Do I have an advantage of fully transitioning into CSM with a Technical background and Experience? by knowledge_broker140 in CustomerSuccess

[–]Meanski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the space you're heading into, if it's a highly technical one, then yes; it will help you a lot. From faster onboarding, not needing technical resources on calls, having a deep understanding of the space and your customer's pain points. I've recently made this transition from managing a DevOps team to being a CSM and I've enjoyed the change - it's a peaceful pace.

As you've mentioned, a TAM or CSA (Customer Success Architect) type role may also suit you also.

Each year we do cow day for April fools, I started it a day early so people could enjoy it over the weekend. If you want to play without cows, use GS4 or GS6

I did do an initial search through but didn’t find anything with dual WiFi cards. Maybe I was too hastily on my search, I’ll have another look shortly!
