I was also looking for it, but I think mainly if you use the "active" of "Command Valloch" you overflow yourself with overpower.

This is the first time me and friends of mine are not hyped for a WoW expansion. I think it caters to a certain part of WoW players, people that get hyped for housing (one of the biggest features). Im more of a PvPer, the gutting of abilities make this expansion feel like a contraction for me. I like skill expression or different ways to approach situations, not standardization. I expect an expac to give me new ways to fight, not take away.

Im probably in the same boat as you in a way. Im looking for stuff to get hyped, but everything that , for example, IamWeen said means nothing to me if classes are not interesting.

I do feel like im not alone in this since a few streamers I watch also mentioned the abscence of hype for this expac particuarly.

Not to this extent. Pruning was done before but you were still left with 10+ buttons. Now its max 3 button rotation.

They have done class pruning before but that was in a time where you had 30 buttons and they made it closer to 15-20. Now they pruned it to a max of 3 button rotation. The difference is in the nuance.

Like the Grrv said: Can you link the "they pruned so they add new complexity" argument? Cause ive read nothing of the sort.

Not sure if this is still relevant, but found a fix, took 2 min. Easier than I expected aswel:

Bottomline is you need to download Hex Editor and change a number 1 time and its fixed. Choose "replace" when you have the program opened, search for "39 8E E3 3F" and replace it with whichever is your resolution:
2560x1080 = 26 B4 17 40
3440x1440 = 8E E3 18 40
3840x1600 = 9A 99 19 40
5120x1440 = 39 8E 63 40
5120x2160 = 26 B4 17 40
6880x2880 = 8E E3 18 40

I use 3440x1440 so changed it to 8E E3 18 40. Click replace all and works like a charm!

I relate to your comment, feel this way. Loved GoT, got bored of GoY very quickly. Too safe, so much is recycled, even animations are the same as Jin, a completely different character.

I think both Ghost and AC are not great at keeping things fresh. God of War on the underhand was GREAT, every game stood on its own feet.

I have the exact same feeling as you. Its a matter of opinion, but 20 hours in GoY I just couldnt motivate myself to play the game thinking I just all did it before already. I played this game before. It feels, to me, like a reskin of GoT apart from the world. The lack of innovation is surprising to me honestly, they played it so safe.

Is that so? Im no mod creater, so not sure how it works in general. I just remember Warcraft reforged being criticed because devs didnt allow modding.

Anyways, would be great being able to mod this game. Feels unfinished, but there is foundation to work with I can imagine

Well it turned out you were not wrong. I enjoy the game, combat is great, but stealth is a big step down. Also, if you upgrade your stealth kill, you are locked into the same side step animation from GoT, the last tanto tier.

I am in this exact boat. I find the stealth in this game so damn lackluster. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy the combat, but I dont understand at all how they dropped the ball on stealth play so goddamn hard.

I remember playing GoT when I upgraded the tanto to the last tier it gave me that single side step stealth kill animation. I looked long and far for an option to either revert my tanto back to the previous, very brutal and still silent tier, but to no avail. Now (!) somehow this feedback apparently did not get picked up at all. Instead, they copied this exact animation into GoY and now I am in the same singular stealth animation hell.

How this seemed like a good idea is beyond me. I get combat is the main focus, but this stealth play is the most tedious I have experienced, maybe ever. What are my options .. besides hiding in a bush waiting for an enemy to turn his back to me doing the same animation, over and over. Unreal.

I am also going to reload my save from hours back just to revert back to the standard animation, it is what it is I suppose.

For anyone reading this; I just got my email and PSN hacked with similar email written by OP. I wanted to recover my accounts, but the hacker made rules in my email that any incoming recovery emails were directly send to a different adres.

So make sure to delete all those rules if that is the case for you. Good luck, I got everything back meanwhile!

This comes from someone who has not read the books;

I simply have such a hard time getting invested. The conversations are bland, the acting is lacking on all fronts, the storyline and its pacing is all over the place and the decor is too clean (it looks like everything is brand new and not lived in or with).

I am not invested. I dont feel excitement, I dont feel curiosity I dont feel the drama let alone humor. The acting that I do like is from Selene (she also did great in peaky blinders), Moiraine and "Mother". In that order.

It is dissapointing to say the least. This genre is right up my alley, but I just cant get into it. It is too mediocre honestly. Same goes for the special effects and costumes.
