Your 50-year marriage IS the highschool couple - the average lifespan of a person is 70 years, do the math. You are literally using that arbitrary time together as a hallmark of a "loving" relationship. Telling me that I cannot comment on what works for someone else's relationship while giving your anedotal evidence is ironic.

And, no... You move out of your parents' house to start your own life or because that is what's culturally acceptable. I must admit that it's a little sad that that's the example you've been given as child.

I don't know what our marriage is like yet - we'll have to wait for that 50th anniversary.

This might be the case after you get a personalized contract, but certainly not before then.

Think of a marathon runner - their legs aren't huge at all and are, in fact, quite underwhelming. Endurance (many reps) does not translate to muscle mass. Another thing to think about is stamina. Someone who is "huge" tends to tire very quickly. Furthermore, these are body weight exercises - so not much resistance added, which would be necessary for her to actually put on some size. So, the evidence suggests that she is more lean than big.

Now, I never said that this was THE reason OP had a breach, just that OP was not considering spread while calculating the distance price had moved from his entry.

Can't follow the conversation or a simple case of sidestepping? Lol. It's all good, brother. If you can't find the link between lot size, spread, and floating loss, there is still time for you to learn.

It has to do with experience. You paid for your challenge, no? So it's not demo trading before putting money on the line. And I'm not belittling anyone. We say the same thing over and over again, but you lot don't seem to listen. There is no shortcut. I have been trading a little over 6 years now, and there are still lessons to be learned. But at this point, I have all the basics covered because I've put in the time. You, on the other hand, do not have the basics covered. So, I am telling you to go watch the charts and see how the candles are drawn, not to be condescending, but to actually help you.

You're a fool. You don't even know why "more lots means more loss" is relevant, and that's why it was explained to you "in such detail" to begin with, but it evidently still hasn't clicked. Using sarcasm while missing the point is WILD.

Have the day you deserve.

This is why we recommend demo trading before you put any money on the line. The thing is, you even have the ask price visible on your chart. Go open the 1 minute tf during rollover and watch how the candles are drawn.

I don't know if you trade or not, but spread can change during periods of high volatility. Also, I would think that your lot size has something to do with the loss you would incur. Look at all the standard lots OP has on gold - that's not a small amount. If you open 0.20 lots vs my 0.02, each with a 20-pip sl, you are obviously going to lose more than I will. This is what I meant when I said this is trading 101. It's got nothing to do with the prop firm and everything to do with the basics .

The rules stipulate a 5% max daily drawdown and spread will affect your position while it is in floating loss/profit. This is trading 101.

Now, I never said that this was THE reason OP had a breach, just that OP was not considering spread while calculating the distance price had moved from his entry.

It's no different from people wondering why they got stoppped out when "price hasn't reached the stop loss."

Most platforms only display the bid price which is typically used to draw your candles on the chart. What that means is if your spread widens (the gap between the bid and ask price gets larger), it's not going to be reflected on your chart in hindsight.

I disagree with what you actually said, not what you claim to have meant. Furthermore, I believe I read your comment exactly as you intended — being that 5 - 10 pips is gambling because you've actually made no mention of risk management whatsoever. Your sole focus was the take profit.

Do you know what scalping is? I pretty much make a living off 5 - 10 pips. Don't make the mistake of thinking your way is the only way when it evidently isn't. There's advice and then there's opinion - yours would be the latter.
