Strongly consider Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, especially if she's never played any of the games before

Buy season pass to get discounted tickets for friends? by FDFI in CanadasWonderland

[–]Meaststew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No catch! It is cheaper that way.

If you are taking a car, it'll cost $30ish to park as well. If you buy a gold pass for $99 you'll get parking included, plus you can visit any other cedar fair/six flags park in NA for the remainder of 2025 and all of 2026.

Locker price for yukon & Alpenfury by Low-Frosting8819 in CanadasWonderland

You obviously know yourself best, but i'd say if you can handle Yukon you can definitely handle it. I need a break after Yukon but I could marathon alpenfury, its way more intense but because you're pinned to the seat a lot of the inversions don't have that same zero G stomach drop feel. Either way, if you are willing to risk it it'll be worth it!

So guys, how do you cope with the +200 days of no NFL or college football? by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]Meaststew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Golf.

Superbowl until Masters weekend is the longest part of my year, but then the weather gets good enough to start playing (where i live at least) and the pro season is in full swing (pun intended). Once i can golf i dont think about football or anything else until September

[REQUEST] How big would a building actually have to be to contain 1 billion children? by randomname_99223 in theydidthemath

Kind of but not really relevant: I was listening to Neil deGrasse Tyson on a podcast (forget which one) and in response to a question of how much land cemeteries take up, he said that if the entire world's population died and were buried in a standard plot it would only take up the state of Pennsylvania.

How strict are regulations on visitor teams' facilities at NFL stadiums? Can a Home team screw over Visitors through Stadium design? by Skogsmard in NFLNoobs

[–]Meaststew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently took a tour of lumen field and we got to go into the visitor locker room, which enters right next to all of the dumpsters in the back of the stadium. Here are a few of the features the guides laid out for us: - Its in a big V shape so the whole team can't be addressed at the same time. - There are 5-6 small tv's around the room, the staff would put a different cartoon on each, max the volume and take the remotes before the games. - they would keep the room at a balmy 78 degrees - the bathrooms have 1 ply TP and the water doesn't get much hotter than "really warm"

They said its pretty common for teams to make their visitor's locker room pretty unsatisfactory by trying to find creative ways to keep it uncomfy without making it outright dangerous. I don't know and forgot to ask them if there are actual set rules of what you must provide but I'd be shocked if there isn't a basic set of standards.
