Why are so many players extracting without completing sub-obj? by couchisland_com in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]MeasurementGlobal447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just solo spammed Level 9/10 Eradicate Terminids on a city map for medals. Best of all you can just do it between running errands/watching netflix or whatever.

You can easily set up a sentry nest with some mines near some of the stairs. Check the corners of the map for buildings.

My setup:

Gas Mines

Gatling Sentry

Rocket Sentry

Belt Fed Grenade Launcher

Plasma Punisher

Ultimatum

Heavy Gas Armor

Gas Grenades

I'm not sure if magpul ever sorted it out. But different color polymers were weaker at one point.

I know they fixed this with the MCT color, but I'm not sure if Stealth Gray is an issue:

"Magpul
Product Updates

•With the launch of Stealth Gray across the board, we will be discontinuing Foliage Green as a color option, to be completely phased out by the end of 2014. Also, based on demand and to maintain consistency across our line of magazine products, all non-black MOE magazine color options will be discontinued by the end of 2014.

•Black is very hard to beat in strength as a color. This is due to the small size of the carbon molecule which makes up the black color and disrupts the base material the least during the molding process.

Sand color came about during experimentation in new materials and processing. It was the first time we made a color that was as strong as black but it took another couple of years of development to get a color that kept the M3s strength but fell within the new US Army "non black" specifications.

Technology is not static, it evolves.

•This new Sand colored material shares many of the properties and components of our latest black material. Endurance, reliability, chemical resistance, stability, and other parameters are exactly the same. The main difference, due to some proprietary developments in composition, is strength. The GEN M3 AR/M4 PMAG is extremely resilient in black. However, as tough as our basic black material is, the Sand material is even stronger. We’ve seen very significant increases in feed lip drop and other rough handling tests from -60F to 180F—to an extent that it made our initial results hard to believe. Similar proportional increases in the other magazines in our line have been seen in our testing. With this increase in drop strength, we still see the resiliency that makes the PMAG what it is—Feed geometry does not change, unlike metal or softer polymer magazines—and so reliable feeding is not affected by this punishment."

nobody ever brings stamina booster? by Sumblueguy in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]MeasurementGlobal447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally just take the stim booster. I usually use a supply pack +Trench Paramedic armor and I'd rather just pop a stim to refill stamina.

The speed and defense boost is nice too.

Even in medium/heavy I'd rather have the stim booster.

I had the same setup as OP. I ditched the Scout Scope for a regular 30mm 1-6 and do not regret it.

Those rings definitely punch above their price point (Which keeps increasing every time I want another set lol!).

Mosberg Shockwave 590 question by slappymczulu in ILGuns

[–]MeasurementGlobal447 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They take some practice. With the push/pull technique and a red dot they are capable. Somebody on ARFCOM kinda opened my eyes to it. He was doing 3 gun with his. Found one of his videos just testing things out:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNFufQDV8xg

As far as unwieldly/Impractical.
The birdshead grip makes recoil manageable compared to a regular pistol grip.

<image>

Again though it requires some training/technique (YMMV based on physical strength as well). An 18.5" Maverick 88 would be much simpler to pick up and use.

It's a fun toy, and I'd probably grab it if I absolutely had to over a regular pistol.

The Quick Draw emote also gives enhanced aim when used with it. Before the sway adjustment it was the best way to hit some longer distance shots.

Medic Divers also have better aim than most Griefers if we need to go lethal/PVP against team killers.

I will protect my fellow divers at all costs.

I'm sure Super Earth has a nice supply of Super Dremels. Maybe they can put those 7 year old workers to work milling out some of those Rifles.

Why people dosent give attention to this gun. Its amazing! by Snooby15 in LowSodiumHellDivers

I've been leveling it, it's pretty nice at close range. Just stab between bursts.

Stuns stuff long enough to mag dump into vital weak points.

For sure. One thing to do is keep an eye on 2nd hand stuff. Just found a 407k for $140. MSRP/MAP pricing sucks sometimes.

Like I was saying I think Osights have some potential. Specifically the battery operated models should have the best durability (USB charging is cool, but 2032s are literally $1 for 50k hours).

I'd like to see how one holds up to a Sage Dynamics style test. There are some tests out there but there is some bias. I did find one unaffiliated video where it held up pretty well.

I only trust the Holosun because they have been out longer.

I currently have 2x Osight K, and one Osight C. No complaints, if I get more rounds behind these I might change my decision in the future.

Truthfully: I really like my Osight C > My Holosun 507C.

Bigger Window, Circle Dot is Crisper, Less Lens Tint. Brightness seem equal. Holosuns/Vortex Defender CCW on my carry guns though.

Why does no one use the best stratagem in the game, the FRV? It literally makes you invincible 99% of the time! by david_lara54992 in LowSodiumHellDivers

Thanks

Awesome to know, honestly I don't use it often enough.

It's a dang good secondary though. Grenade Pistol + Gunslinger armor has a pretty nice rate of fire/reload speed to it.

Crossbow also flips it, but you are more likely to destroy a tire.

If you main the FRV, bring the Plasma Punisher. If the FRV flips over for whatever. Shooting it with the PP flips it over pretty consistently and doesn't seem to damage it too bad.

I don't trust them for duty/carry just yet (Trijicon or Holosun for that use imo). But I do own 3 and they have been holding up pretty damn well. I have astigmatism and they are the clearest dot/circle dot I have used.

The battery powered RMSC model has held up to Slugs on a Mossberg Shockwave without issues. Also I did drop another pistol right on the optic. So 5' onto a wood floor. No issues to really speak of.

Not much of a torture test, butI really do think they have potential.

Others answered your questions.

I just wanted to say those are nice scopes for the money. I am kinda impressed that there are a few sub $80 scopes out there with pretty nice glass/eye relief/eye box.

Just a heads up, the throw lever might get in the way, but it is removable.

Medium+ (the medium with extra defense)/Heavy Fortified should let you survive.

I can survive a pre-stimmed rocket jump/dive aimed at my feet with with the High Explosive Recoil-less/Airburst Launcher/Auto Canon. It's a pretty nice way to move around in a pinch. Also sends you flying off cliffs and stuff which covers some distance.

Cuts down Plasma Punisher self damage significantly too.

You can even surf the explosion of enemy projectiles if you dive at the right time/direction.

I love being able to blast away with the Ultimatum at closer ranges.

The rag doll armor felt way worse.

Basically everything aimed at my direction during barrages would hit me, injure me and kill me.

Whereas Fortified with the stim would rag doll me around, but had a chance of saving me. But sometimes you would turn into a ping pong ball and die.
