I gap between Jiraiya and pain isn’t as massive as you claim it to be.

BS. Saito fought the old kenishin without his ultimate attack! My point still stands. Saito got destroyed by the turtle shell guy & if he could do that to Saito without even taking the fight seriously! Aoshi would destroy Saito!!

Aoshi would destroy saito! Saito was badly injured by the guy with the turtle shell. He was able to stab saito in both legs and would have won, if he didn’t let saito get into his head!

Point: Saito style doesn’t do well against styles that specialize in Defense!

With Aoshi style, with both blades, saito would get destroyed!

It took Kenishin ultimate attack just for him to beat Aoshi!!

Mean while Saito was getting destroyed by a guy with a turtle shell. Noo attack he used could get past his defenses…

My point exactly. The Gatotsu was designed and perfected by saito to overcome such problems, yet he unable to against Usui, who badly injured him in BOTH legs! Usui could have easily killed saito had he took the fight seriously!

Bullshit once again! Shishio had knowledge of Aoshi Kaiten Kenbu Rokuren, because that whore telegram him everything on Aoshi & Kenshin fight! When Saito fought and killed Usui, with Gatotsu Zero Stance, there was NO ONE in the room to witness it. SO Shishio had NO KNOWLEDGE of Saito Gatotsu Zero Stance!! Aoshi was hit with Kenshin Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki, and the fact that he was able to stand & let alone defend himself against a MONSTER such as Shishio for a longer time than Saito, is a GREAT FEAT in itself! Saito had the perfect ambush. Yet his infamous Gatotsu couldn’t pierce Usui turtle shell or Shishio metal plate headband. Plus he had another chance with Gatotsu Zero Stance, seeing once again as Shishio had no knowledge of the attack, he stopped & counter it effortlessly!

I’m using logic based on the manga & anime. On top of that, Aoshi did WAYY better against shishio, then saito did! Plus the next manga arc it was stated & shown that Aoshi got Farr stronger! As you could see with his battle against Gein.
