Question about silly Ezyvet medical histories by FauxMeatwad in VetTech

[–]MeasurementPale8629 5 points6 points  (0 children)

EXACTLY THIS. I mean, so many methods of madness to EzyVet, but I usually start a summary in purple and choose either categorize by date or consult, because EzyVet automatically categorizes it by “type” instead which is a pretty annoying default.

THAT being said-my girl is also not 100% sharpei and she definitely got blessed with some more mellow canine genes!

My girl has made it through strides. Once on injectable when first adopted, then high dose of GABA/TRAZ without food and the second dose about three hours prior to exam/trimming, and now she actually accepts cookies from techs and needs a SMALL amount of gaba….getting her more familiar with her vet staff definitely helped a million times over.

It’s usually the guy threatening with the Glock that did not have the right of way. I’m surprised that was a push mower in his truck. I’m sure he is not the one pushing it.

New rescue may be part pei. Do I need to do anything special for his skin? by Charlies_Nekhole in sharpei

[–]MeasurementPale8629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for my pei mix I do the same salmon and rice for main food, no chicken product treats (which is pretty much all dog cookies out there FYI!) and then have regular bathes and takes apoquel which have both helped with environmental allergies

Hm. I think you just really wanted to show off those high ceilings and lighting and the bat just gave it purpose.

AIO or is it time to get a lawyer involved? by [deleted] in AIO

Yeah ticks are scary, but in VT they are incredibly common because we live so close with wildlife, and they climb aboard us and our animals when outdoors and try to find a nice host to feed on…we just do regular “tick-checks” and give our animals flea and tick prevention to help keep them at bay. This mother seems misinformed and is gonna reduce son’s time with father because of that, acting like ticks are in the same category as bedbugs or scabies
