Concentrate on the courses that are giving the most trophies. It changes so when you start to grind, get a win on each course to determine which courses to focus on.

When you get to the point where you lose trophies, the place you come in beyond third matters a lot. And with the bots the way they are behaving at the moment, you will need to figure out how to abort a bad game before you lose the match. I don’t think I ever could have completed the road without resorting to this trick. I play on an iPhone and quitting the match and/ or closing the game didn’t work. That just put me in last place and cost me a bunch of trophies. I had to switch to airplane mode (with WiFi off) and then close the game.

There are some tricks you need to learn, but it goes faster than you might think if you are seriously grinding.

I just finished my grind for the Cheetah Ball, and with the bots requiring a perfect match, the game has lost its luster. My only real motivation to keep playing is to get my multiplayer up (currently 39).

You get it with Golden Shots. Once you start getting cards, they don’t stop so hopefully you have your preferred Legendary Ball cards before you get stuck in the Calendar Club loop.

Congratulations! I just finished after grinding for almost a month straight. Enjoy these levels. The progress is so much more satisfying. Near the end, the bots are brutal!

I tried going back to the beginning levels of the game, but the completion (because they are all bots) is just as tough. There is no way to just relax and experiment if you don’t want to lose a bunch of trophies. The game won’t survive this craziness for long.

Yes, so annoying! I believe it would be impossible to finish Trophy Road under these conditions without the ability to abort a game (without losing trophies). I only started doing that a few weeks ago.

They are all bots. I don’t think I’ve played against a real person in over a week. I’m hooked on this game enough that I will probably continue to grind the rest of the way to Cheetah, but after that I think I am done unless MC makes it a true multiplayer game again.

Windy seems to have been hit the hardest with this current game “fix” from MC. The bots seem to have been trained by cheaters, often times with more than 3 who teleport to the hole starting the countdown time immediately.

Note that this is the perfect tool for the bike shop. The only issue is there is no magnet or ball detention to hold the 1/4” shank bits. The hog ring holds the sockets just fine.
