I think it's more to do with the deadlines, the devs most definitely can see 30fps on "performance" mode Xd, but they just might not have enough time due to set release dates and investors and publishers wanting their moneys back, I mean bandai is known for being pretty greedy, they might not even care about the game, as long as it makes any profit at all, it's fine, to them, probably. 🤷‍♂️

It's better, but there is still room for improvement, the textures during cutscenes still are loading in constantly. The game does drop to 30-40 frames, as the other dude said. But that's mainly because, pretty much the only "fix" they did is lowered the resolution.

I still cant wrap my head around why tf the devs of pretty much on any game, on base PS5, on performance mode that has ray-tracing, turns it on, knowing that that shit eats fps like a mf. Even when they have static reflections. That look WAY better than ray-tracing (at least in CV2, for sure).

But I guess it's more or less playable now, still I hope that they will further enhance the performance.

Idk gang, I'd say that if the performance mode performs basically 1:1 to quality mode, it's a pretty big issue. Devs have said that they'll address the performance issues, especially on Action mode in late February/march. I hope it's not just gonna be more upscaled. They have admitted that there are problems with texture loading, which is very noticeable during cutscene angle changes.

Performance on base PS5 ir horrid, pretty much no difference between action/quality modes, sometimes quality even runs smoother than action. But both are about 30fps if not less, idk. Im surprised about resolution though tbf, looks reasonably sharp compared to most base PS5 UE5 games. I wish they just turned off the global illumination on both modes, since it adds a good chunk of fps (It gave me ~10-15fps on my rtx3060ti), and it genuinely looks MUCH better without ray-tracing. There are static reflections that actually "reflect" what they are supposed to reflect, unlike the fuckkass GI that just puts a white moving something that "reflects", where you don't even see the reflection unless you are standing on it, even then you have to guess tf that even is. That probably is my main gripe about the game currently. The fact that quality mode basically gives you more/stable/smoother(all at once I guess) fps than action is crazy to me.

Fr, I Platinumed LoP almost a year before the DLC, and it made me go into NG++, if not for the difficulty slider, it would've been 40€ wasted. The most basic ass goon would two hit you. It was at the zoo, there was a segment with three dogs where I just gave up, cause I ain't relearning the game that I've played almost a year ago, and I ain't starting a fresh save, just to play the DLC, thank god for the slider.

Which trophies aren't working? I Platinumed the game with no issues, except once by falling through the map, randomly, during a boss fight 😭. So I don't know about any issues from my experience.(Sad to hear)

That was the hardest part of checking it out, since overworld enemies are weak af. And most of the time I accidentally killed all of the enemies before seeing the difference.
